Maybe tone of messages gets lost in translation...but calm down fellas! I’m sure we all agree it’s great to be getting retro style figures from not 1, but 2 companies! (If only Mattel higher ups could pull their heads from their backsides too 😂) Kudos to Chella and Zombie for having the balls to launch new ventures in what’s been a crazy 12 months or so, and I hope to support both as long as it doesn’t involve more £ than I can afford. Agreed dude! Can you imagine how awesome it would be if Mattel was producing retros alongside Chella and ZST products. I am hoping when all is said and done people’s hasbro/retro collections will be looking incredible. Couldn’t agree more.

Unfortunately I'm guessing most of these are gonna end up falling outside my budget when I consider the cost of shipping them to Canada as well. They look awesome though. Hopefully I can at least manage to work danhausen and Dino Bravo into by budget. Dinos been a want of mine since I was like six or seven years old, and Hasbro's have more sentimental value to me than any other figure line.
Edit: also be careful guys. Jack's cracking down on negative/attacking posts on the forum, I'd hate to see anyone lose their account over this.

Here’s hoping you can afford this for your collection. Wishing you all the very best man as it will feel like an accomplishment when you have that fig. I respect that the admin has a responsibility to moderate the form, collecting is an extremely subjective and opinionated topic. I would like to think views are respected good and bad. I understand people can take it to far, but if someone offers a viewpoint and it’s worded and thought provoking good and bad it has its place on a forum, it’s literally the point of a forum in that opinions are shared and everyone here is posting opinions unless provided with confirmed facts and evidence, I think having both viewpoints adds to a topic, while keeping it honest and pure and because collecting and opinions on toy companies are so subjective to only demand “positive and nice comments” would be unrealistic, if anyone takes the time to type a reply it should have merit because they have taken the time to make a comment. Thanks haha. I'm Canadian and kid me always rooted for the heels because I liked Jesse Ventura and Bobby Heenan on commentary, so Dino always had a special place. I also agree with what you're saying, not everything has to be positive. Nor am I suggesting what anyone said so far is ban worthy. Just that I could see the thread starting to have the potential to head in that direction and knowing a few people have already been banned recently including a long time member, wanted to caution everyone so they don't end up losing their account.

I’m really interested in following this and seeing where the price point lands.
I think both sides are making compelling arguments right now to be honest. ZST and Matt are right that costs are high and there needs to be a profit. I really do appreciate that side of it and think they’ve knocked it out the park with signing so far. So firstly well done to you guys.
The flip to that is as a consumer I’m not going to feel bad about start up costs and pay double what others charge. Now maybe someone like Dino could get me to pay a hefty price, but if these things are more expensive than elites plus harder to get (Australia) with huge shipping costs, none of those issues mentioned will matter to me.
From a neutral standpoint it’s going to be interesting to see how many people fall into each side and how well these sell. I wish you guys nothing but success and hope anyone who doesn’t want them, just doesn’t buy them. No need to go off on anyone, just spend your money how you see fit.

People will pay full price from a large corporation whose CEO will be able to buy a third beach house but demand a discount from a small business who is trying to afford braces for their kids.

all I wanna know, from @zombiesailor themselves is whether these will be available for UK customers to order (on day 1) and whether we can buy single/multiples per figure we want, or is the whole lineup only?
no offence to the indie guys, but some collectors will just want Brody/Dino/Sullivan/Sabu and other established/legacy names, and see the likes of danhausen as a peg warmer not worth buying

To my point above to cut out international customers from the onset is leaving money on the table. From what I understand there will be a two week window for orders to be placed, so it will essentially be a made to order deal. Also as others have highlight and the names you have provided above for die hard retro collectors will see these as must haves. So the international aspect does need looked into but the international buyer will need reassurance also, because they will be paying extra shipping cost and likely will be hit with a customs charge on the other side. For that if it was me, I would want a high end product (which I think it will be) mint carding, and extra attention to postage and packing to ensure it arrives safely. If all that is assured I can justify to myself the additional costing. I want this guy to succeed but he will learn a lot from the members of this forum positive and negative response. He also has influencer friends who will hopefully do him a favour with advertising, but if he starts with the limited silliness (1/100, 1/500) a lot will tap out. Jazwares has and is learning this first hand with the AEW chases. Collectors don’t and should not tolerate such practices in this era of wrestling figures and everyone should be on a level playing field.

I have little to no nostalgia for Hasbros so most of these will be passes for me but I may have to pick up Brody depending on the price. $35 shipped is probably my ceiling for what I’m willing to pay. Anything more than that isn’t personally worth it.

Great work by both ZST and Chella Toys in giving the retros a resurgence . Some great licences secured and looks promising moving forward . Hopefully this shows Mattel that there is a big demand for retros too . 2021 is going to be an expensive year lol .

Costly indeed dude lol, but I don’t mind paying more as long as the product is worth it and within reason. I am really interested to know who else is signed by both company’s.

I’m psyched for this line, there are some great wrestling legends represented here and some fun characters too. It’s a labor of love that is filling a void as far as wrestling figures go, they even got the OG Hasbro designer to boot! So rad, I’m looking forward to getting some of these. It’s pretty wild how expensive these are to make, props for making this a reality ZST!

It’s cool to see a lot of these guys get their due but so far no one that I’m really dying to get. I’m sure if the line continues, there will be people I want though. I’ll hold out for Severn haha.

Im curious to hear/see how everyone else would rank the lineup thus far from most excited to least excited. You don’t have to be buying them to play along! For me it would be:
Dino Bravo Sabu Earl Hebner Danhausen Brian Myers Bruiser Brody Matt Cardona Kevin Sullivan (in that form)

That’s a fun idea, and difficult to judge really as there have been a lot of interesting reveals so far.
For me personally I’d go with something like:
1. Earl Hebner 2. Sabu 3. Dino Bravo 4. Mark Sterling 5. Brian Myers 6. Matt Cardona 7. Bruiser Brody 8. Kevin Sullivan 9. Danhausen
The top three could be in any order - Hebner wins due to the need of a Hasbro referee, and of course he was always around during my main fandom. Sabu looks brilliant, and Dino, whilst he’d just left the WWF by the time I started watching, is a big win for the line.
Kevin Sullivan is a great addition, but he was never active in any promotion I was watching so there’s no attachment to him for me.
Same with Brody TBH, but his story is obviously notorious.
The Major Pod guys are difficult to order; really they should all be as one but the Sterling design I really like.
Danhausen looks great, but I don’t know him beyond this line.
The Rock N Roll Express could potentially top the list though once they are properly revealed, as could Candido if that is what he was teasing the other day.
Lots of excitement...
