In conjunction with Zombie Sailor Toys, Matt and Brian will be releasing these Retro inspired figures. A couple notes...they will not have actions. ZST says there will be more wrestlers announced soon!
I think these look amazing and are the closest to the original Hasbros yet. Brian finally got his jumper!

I’m all about the retro inspired action figures! I cannot wait to see who else they have lined up.

I'm so excited for these I can barely put it into words But, as usual with Retros, I've written about a million here below: These two look amazing - if that's the standard we're looking at then... wow Great that Brian is getting a jumper mould, though from the look of his waist then I'm guessing he won't actually 'jump', so the figures probably aren't going to have actual actions, which probably makes sense since most customers won't actually be playing with them (no judgement to those who will be ), and a lot will stay MOC anyway, but still at the same time... I hope they do have the actual mechanical actions - it wouldn't feel right without them, but obviously I'd gratefully accept them regardless. Very exciting to hear him say he already has other names signed-up - I'd guess the Major Pod family will be well represented (Smart Mark and Swoggle I definitely expect, maybe Heath? Maybe Stang? Rory Fox? Maven?) but the vast field of non-WWE contracted guys gives the line acres of potential. This exact quote is extra awesome: "MANY top past and present wrestlers have ALREADY been SIGNED to this project... perhaps some guys Hasbro didn’t do proper justice or were never made will get this treatment" If the names he has line-up include the level of guys who already have actual Hasbros then... I think Zombie was the guy who commissioned Ron Rudat to design a potential 'Series 13' for the Hasbro line - IIRC guys like Henry Godwinn, Aldo Mantoya, Savio Vega were included in that. I just fear that he'll make very limited quantities that will enrich no-one but the scalpers like the mainstream toy-makers seem to like to encourage - I'm already going to get hammered due to shipping costs over to the UK and the resulting customs charges, but adding a middle-man on eBay into the mix will be too much even for me.

Its cool. But unless they are official from the WWE, they are really just High End Customs.

I would probably buy these if they weren't made in insanely low numbers. Those are excellent.

How many figures do these two clowns need? Since they got released, they've had Remco AWA style Micro brawlers Tonka wrestling buddies style Super 7 Hasbro WWF style All of them had 500 units or less produced .

We don't know what the actual Super7 production run was because of them being made to order in terms of what people buy directly from S7 but also the allotments for RSC and other online retailers.

Hate to disagree, but I do NOT think they're closest to the original Hasbros -- the Retros look better than these. I wouldn't buy without actions, personally. Hope people enjoy them!

Yeah have to agree these aren’t ‘closest to the original hasbros’. They look great and the detail is superb, but more realistic and less caricature than hasbros. And I’ve hit to agree with another previous poster as well - I expect these to be very low in numbers and hard to get hold of. Shame, as they look good & would be cool to see who else they make....

Nice, without action they even fit in with the ones by Chella Toys. Also wrestlers that are in the RetroMania Wrestling game.

Thanks for backing me up, man. I actually really enjoy their podcast -- but feel like you ahve to be honest both ways.
As you said, it's less caricature and more realistic, which I personally don't like as much if they're supposed to be Hasbro style

The Mattel Retros lacked that cartoonish style as well, but they're still fun.

Totally disagree the Retros weren't cartoonish -- I'm looking at Diesel now - he's a total cartoon. But we can agree to disagree

These look great. Especially BM is really nice. MC is a liitle too much Warrior‘esque.
Does anybody have a good contact to ZST or the MajorWFPod? It would be a great statement to the board if they could arrange some sort of preorder system in the members area overhere.
