yes premium lines have cloth chaps and UE is premium line. I don't want rubber ones.

im actually kind of surprised at the lack of HBK elites in general. considering who he is and how he's one of the more popular guys of all time.

there has only been ONE shawn michaels in the regular Elite line that is a "flashback" and that was series 19

I have really gotten the impression that Mattel creates figures they like more so than the obvious ones. Of course it’s wrestling and guys have tons of attires but they rarely touch some desired looks, as if those in charge may not be fans of them themselves. Like Triple H attire we finally got with the Ultimate. HBK with his attires from 96-97. Undertaker from 97-98. Look at Kurt Angle, we got a Shield look and way too many modern looks. Ultimate Warrior with the green tights from the promo. Sometimes I feel like the attires I want are not in the interest of the design team. Heck where are the Acolytes lol?

WWE says yes or no I'm sure, but brand managers have a lot more sway than you'd think. That's the impression I've been given over the years, anyway. From the McFarlane Sportspicks guy pushing for countless Pittsburgh Steelers to Scott Neitlich making his own Masters of the Universe Classics figure to all the Nakamuras now. It takes some kind of gall to choose your personal wants for lines that are sold en masse to customers.

I'm shocked that we don't have more Elite HBKs in heart tights in general. A couple are one-off/event-specific attires, and we still don't have one that's a generic red/white HBK heart attire.

It’s because certain people have their own agendas and make what figures they want. I get it to a degree, but to give HBK MAYBE 1 elite a year is ridiculous, yet let’s keep pumping out the Nakamura’s in lines he doesn’t belong in like the DM and UE. Great examples of people with their own agendas. HBK easily could of replaced Umaga or Stone Cold in the RR set hitting now. Hopefully Steve sees this and puts HBK in the RR set for next year. Knowing how things work the line will be cancelled lol.

I look at HBK as one of those “lifers” who isn’t going anywhere. There’s still a ton of options for attires with him and they will roll out over the years.

Not until they get arguably the most important look. A regularly worn attire from April-November 1996, his first WWF title run...then they can get to chap pants Shawn all they want.

Not until we get his late 95/96/ early 97 top guy face run covered. We've barely gotten any figures from that period, and the ones we have are one-offs and missing entrance gear.

Mannn with another Ultimate Shawn coming soon to Fan Takeover, and all the options were 90s looks, we really really really need a RA Shawn before they go back and make more 90s.
