Happy 2021! As we go into a new year, what are your wrestling figure related goals or resolutions? Spend less? Spend more? Get that one fig? Downsize?
I'm starting a weekly live figure show every Tuesday, it's something I've wanted to do for a while, and I figure now is as good a time as any. Also.. Shockmaster. I need to pick up a loose Shockmaster!
What about you, WFigs, what are your figure goals or projects for the year?

I collect every Elite of Rollins and I'm only 2-3 from having them all. Also need to find Hurricane chase online.

Not to spend as much as I did in 2020. I’m going to finish out my NXT detolf and then move on to a new one which will either be my top 50 of all time or strictly WWF 98/99.

I’ve actually been looking to end my Mattel collection. So I just need Keith Lee and Kushida, and then I’m going to stop collecting Mattel. I might get Kross, it just depends on what the finishes figure looks like.

Started last year trying to avoid picking up new figures of guys I already have unless it’s a considerable upgrade or completely unique with the exception being Macho, Warrior, and Andre who I will continue to buy any and all of. The plan for 2021 is to continue limiting my purchases to only the figures I truly need.

I'm going to be more selective. Low-supply, scalpers and resellers are crushing my enjoyment of collecting.

Honestly, it might be to just end the collecting. This past year wasn’t a whole lot of fun for me in terms of colleting. It was more of a hey cool I got it type of thing instead of me trying to hunt and find stuff. Between having to pre order, pay scalpers or just overall miss out on things, it’s not worth the aggravation. I used to love this hobby more than anything but the last year really was trying

Buy nothing whatsoever
Enjoy saving money
Help others if they need anything if I just so happen to come across it.
Wait for SDCC to see how many new names they actually out out as opposed to the 6 thousand repaints.
Enjoy not spening money on busted qc and scalpers/resellers.

Like some others, I'd say collect less. I got pretty caught up as far as what I want, so there are only a few current guys I still want. Same with Marvel Legends. I'm keeping my collecting to a more focused collection that has an end instead of a never-ending exercise.

Add risers to my display Be more selective in what I buy
Overall not planning to change much. My Mattel buying has slowed down significantly in the last two years, but I'm probably going to be buying a lot of AEW figures. I'm going to need to figure out a space solution, whether that's downsizing some figures, a rotating display, or adding another bookcase.

With the year+ waits, the manufactured rarity and demand, the continued uneven and insufficient distribution at retail, the necessity to always be attentive online for drops or else miss out, and my luck when it comes to finding the best deal after I've already made a purchase, all that took its toll and feels nothing like innocently walking into stores and getting the rush of finding a honeyhole.

That’s another thing that really gets me. I’ll end up buying or pre ordering a figure and it’ll be found online half price a months later. Mattel is really starting to flub the line up. Between distribution like you said and other stuff

Simply trying to keep up! There's just so much stuff coming out these days.
That's a good problem to have though!
