absolutely mr perfect. hennig is considered one of the all time greatest workers and for good reason. Yeah but wrestling ability is only part of the equation. Is he better in the ring than Orton? Sure. Is he better on the mic than Orton? Could be debated I’m sure. Did he bring in as much money as Orton? Was he as over as Orton? Did he have the longevity Orton has? I don’t think so, no. I guess everyone's mileage is going to vary, but when it comes to compiling my own personal Top 10/20/whatever wrestlers, I don't think I've ever factored how much money a guy brought in. I know everyone's list is going to be highly subjective, but for me, it's a matter of who's given me the most value as a fan. To an extent, things like how over they are with a crowd matter a bit, but for the most part, I'm only looking at it with my own eyes. Otherwise, I start factoring things like that and I begin to feel like I'm making someone else's list, or something meant to be more definitive, and I'm just a guy. |

Really can’t stand Randy Orton, never have liked him....from his dis-honorable discharge from the military all the way down to his “miss piggy” post after taking a pic with a female fan....the guys a jerk off & his momma should have swallowed

Just off the top of my head I see Orton more with the tier 3 group. 03-07 was excellent....08-10 was pretty good....11-17 RandyBOREton....18-current really good

He’s never been one of my favourites, but his tenure and achievements absolutely put him near the top. He’s nowhere near the Big Four (Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena), but he’s done nineteen years of almost full time service in the WWE. Although he’s never been THE guy, for about seventeen of those years he’s been one of the main guys on the show. So I’d easily put him in that tier with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Undertaker. But he’d be at the bottom of that tier for me, because he just doesn’t have as many hugely memorable moments and matches as those guys.

Add JR and Kofi to the list of people saying Orton may be the greatest of all time. The JR approval really seemed to hurt Kenny Omega’s feelings.
