This playset looks amazing, but I can't believe it goes for over 1,000 easy.
Does anyone know why it's so rare? Just because it's a great set with the fist?
Does anyone have any really good (and close) loose pictures?

I had no idea this was so expensive now. I guess it's in line with some of the other playsets from this era like the nWo Back in Black cage being sought after and expensive.

Great memories playing with this when I was younger. Still have some parts from it in storage

I finally scored one this year for $250. Still pricey in my opinion. But the fist stage era of smackdown was a big part of my childhood so glad to finally own it.

Is it the set itself that's so pricey, or does it depend on whether there's WWF or WWE branding on the set / packaging? I'm fairly sure it got a run with both logos?

It doesn't go for 1k some jackass decided to list it for 1k since he was the only one on ebay and others copied him. The set is worth about $200-250 max

You're right -- should have checked Sold listings. Amateur move. All the available ones were priced so high, I thought that was close to going rate...
