Hey guys, This line really bothers me I know it just came out and we are going to support it but is anyone tired of seeing them give us the bucks when they were in series 1 already and now in series 3 does anyone prefer that or does everyone wanna see newer faces in the line Like Britt, Red Velvet, Sonny Kiss , Kip ETC?

There’s most likely characters that retailers want in each line and that’s the reason for the Young Bucks appearing again so soon.

The way the roll out has gone they could squeeze rereleases into the first five series after series 1 and it'd be totally justified.

I don’t really understand how anyone could’ve expected them to not make the main eventers a lot. Like, that’s how this works guys, we’ve seen it forever with WWE

Generally speaking, I’d prefer brand new characters over repaints/rereleases, however, I can honestly say I’m really happy with the Young Bucks in series 3 as I prefer the attire and it means I no longer have to buy the series 1 figures

I assume there will be someone from Series 1 and/or 2 in almost every set going forward in 2021. These are going on Walmart pegs, not to hobby shops, and each series will need someone with "grandma name recognition".

I’m fine with the Young Bucks being released already. Series 1 was an attire I personally didn’t like that I passed on. Series 3 looks much better minus the awful tassels. Now if they would stop with that dumb molded headband on Nick.

The reality is you’re going to see many figures of top names. That’s true of any line, and even more so for a new product where a lot of the roster was unknown to casual fans. But the same rules that Mattel always talks about will apply here - if they’re featured on tv they’ll probably get a figure.
But folks who are signed but mostly work Dark or have only recently been featured on tv aren’t going to have figures in stores any time soon. Companies should listen to their fan base. But it’s also on us as collectors to be somewhat reasonable about what is or isn’t possible from a logistics or business standpoint.

Now if they would stop with that dumb molded headband on Nick. I'm not sure they're going to let us have a Nick Jackson with authentically receding hairline. Repaints. Re-releases. Alternate attires. That's just part of action figure lines. It reuses parts and keeps the top stars on shelves. Win Win. I guarantee more people would buy alternate attire Young Bucks than would buy guys from their YouTube show. I expect that by Series 6 we'll be seeing sets of 3 re-releases, and 3 new faces. Which is still pretty fantastic, especially if they give them the same treatment as these Young Bucks, with new head sculpts and jackets.

I think all the superstars from series one needs re-release in upcoming series one by one with new people also, in series one the skin tone is like figures having severe anemia.

I would be fine with The Elite and Jericho in every set. I love all of their gear (not a fan of Hangman in tights but it’ll probably grow on me) so I’ll never get tired of them

I heard target also in 2021 Available at Target hopefully in the spring, and by Q3 they are hoping to do a wave every month. There should be plenty of slots for new faces while keeping known names like Sting, Mox, Bucks, etc on shelves.

I used to buy all the different attires but now I try to stick with one or two unless it’s someone who I really like. Plus rereleases give people a chance who weren’t able to get previous ones. I think some of the kickback with this line is that it’s so new and a new company that collectors and fans are chomping at the bits to have everyone as fast as possible when it’s just not possible. As far as the headbands go, it’s just my personally quirk as a collector. I hated the molded hat on Hasbro’s Undertaker, molded bandana on TTL Undertaker, molded bandana on Mattel’s Steamboat, and now Nick Jackson. Lol

I just hope we eventually get a Kenny Omega with the face scan that was originally shown on the protos back in February.

I mean, the top guys getting repaints or altogether different figures in quick succession has been a thing going back to the Hasbro line. I don't mind it, you have to make sure your top guys are in the sets so that retailers have more confidence in their ability to sell the product.
