Current day WWE to me, is just... unwatchable. I try my best to get into it but I just can't. Can anyone else relate? My point here is... now, as the newer Elite sets roll out, I just have no interest..
Elite 77 I only got R-Truth, cause the dude is funny can't deny that lol. Total passes on 79, 80... 81 and 82 are looking the same.
I'm still active on here and social media following the product, but damn man!

It’s been a lot easier to skip main roster elites

I got Ric rude from elite 77 and skipped everything from next sets, my last purchases were Billy Graham and NWO Hogan. I have no interest I mean literally zero interest in current roster and current product. Moreover talking about figures the quality has significantly dropped ,I bought 6 figures in last 3 months and every single one has loose joint and sloppy paint applications.

I agree. The current day product is trash. I practically only tune in when I remember after work to watch the segments involving the Fiend, Jeff Hardy, Roman and Mysterio on their YouTube channel. After that, I don’t even know anyone else on the roster or care. The product and segments are just terrible. There’s just a lack of character build up or interesting storylines. One week, you have The Fiend come out and stare down Roman. The next thing you know, he’s on Raw in a brand new storyline. It makes me sad to realize that all the guys I grew up watching are retired or dead.

I haven't watched a full RAW or Smackdown episode in a very long time. I dig the Fiend cause I'm a horror nerd but outside that not much holds my interest. Heel Roman is very good though and I wasn't a fan of him before the turn. The NXT product much more entertaining and AEW I watch every week. Main roster WWE is just stale.

I haven't been able to watch since the early 00s with any consistency.
Doesn't mean I don't absolutely love the 80s-early 00s. Where wrestling is concerned, I am absolutely content to live in the past.

The product is totally unwatchable to me. The 50/50 booking and awful writing is just the tip of the iceberg. I do like NXT but not nearly as much as I did a few years back. I am buying less and less as well.

I really only watch AEW nowadays. It's because I'm a fan of long-term stories mostly. WWE main roster lost me around Mania. And with all the Covid problems and injuries, NXT sadly hasn't been the same to me for that same reason. That being said, I don't hate NXT, but the main roster on the other hand has become unbearable to me. I think that's why I only collect AEW figures now as well.

Yeah, I haven't been a fan of wrestling since WCW went under and WWF became WWE. I watch from time to time but, it just isn't fun.

The pandemic and no fans in attendance doesn't really help

Yeah... the best days are definitely over with.
My advice is get into UFC. It’s become somewhat WWE-like with the storylines and rivalries... but what’s cool is it is NOT scripted. The action and outcomes are real. It takes time at first to learn about different fighters and the sport itself, but it pays off.
I love you.

I want to get a few from those series you mentioned, and I still look forward to new figure reveals, but I no longer feel the need to play catch-up on Elites. Buying repaint after repaint of the current roster members just doesn’t do anything for me anymore, and I think a lot of that has to do with my overall apathy towards WWE. I never thought I’d be someone to lapse, but I’ll be damned if there’s a single solitary thing I care about right now in WWE. Even if this were pre-pandemic, I don’t think you could pay me to attend a WWE show. As for the figures, if I’m being totally honest, it’s the lack of online availability for store exclusives that’s irritated me the most. The combination of that practice from Mattel and WWE’s version of “entertainment” is enough to turn any sane person to other, more rewarding pursuits.

I still enjoy the WWE shows when I watch them, but I do skip more episodes than I would in previous years. I feel like Smackdown has improved over the last 6 months though. What annoys me about WWE nowadays is they often don’t follow through with the characters/storylines that they build up.
