I feel like they will just reuse the HOF Hogan smiley head for the Legend figure.

Zero desire for WM8 Hogan. Much rather have WCW Hulkster if they’re doing an early 90s Hogan

It will never cease to amaze me that people don't understand why the biggest current stars in the company are always the main focus of the line/get multiple figures/etc. I get this line of thinking to an extent, then I remember back to being a dorky eight year old getting TTL figures at Toys R Us and being excited to see figures like Steve Blackman or Crash Holly instead of getting a fifth or sixth Stone Cold I know my Jakks roster had a plethora of lower midcard guys. Barely found top guys in store as a kid, and the ones I did weren't that great. Took Mattel for me to get proper Rocks, Hunters, Austins, etc.

Dude. Mattel is WELL AWARE they sell most of their figures to adults. This isn't the 80s. Do they though? I used to think this but haven’t been shown evidence either way. Well technically......I mean, I dont know many 6-14yos with a job buying figures lol

I understand that it's annoying, but I can't help but to laugh about how much grown adults complain about these line-ups having repeat figures. "HOW DARE THEY PRODUCE A LINE OF TOYS FOR CHILDREN AND HAVE TH AUDACITY TO INCLUDE MULTIPLE INCARNATIONS OF THE TOP PEOPLE WHO GET THE MOST TV TIME! I WANT MORE RUTHLESS AGGRESSION MIDCARD AND JOB GUYS! RAGHHHHHH!" At the end of the day, it's a business that has to cater more to children than adult collectors. I get that we all would have our wants in a collection, and people are spoiled by how JAKKS put out every single character, but I feel that so many of those figures are just rushed hot garbage compared to the current product. K I said I’m not excited for all these repeats but I would never throw a fit over it either. Your statement would apply more to adults who complain about the mistakes or inaccuracies on these plastic toys. I agree with your statement in that regard.

Well technically......I mean, I dont know many 6-14yos with a job buying figures lol I don’t mean who has the means to buy them, but who they’re for. There’s got to be more children in the world getting these toys than there are grown men buying them all for themselves. For every one of us that has a hoard, there’s got to be at least 10-20 kids just starting up. Basically even if we made up 40% of sales, they know we’re crackheads and buy all this stuff anyways, even if we complain etc. They’re always gonna try and cater to the new younger fan first.

Just had a look - they showed photos of elite 75, Shawn and Brock Ultimates and Elite network spotlights.
If I had to guess I would say we’ll see Elite 84, Macho Man and Edge Ultimates and Legends Series 10.

As a kid I loved getting all the new Austin’s that came out, but I also wanted every guy they made. What kind of 10 year old gets excited to get Edge, Dr Death, and Val Venis? This kid. At the same time I loved the Ringside figures like Honky Tonk and Slaughter because I watched old WWF vhs tapes at my cousins and at a young age new a lot of WWF history. So even Legends figures could be for kids. My nephews know who Mick Foley and Stone Cold is and they are four and five.

I didn't even care for Severn that much, but it was someone new in the line and I didn't want my 5th figure of Billy Gunn, or X-Pac, or another Austin. I think that's going to be true today. Sure, kids want their favorite wrestler. But fresh faces will always be popular for kids and adults.

Now since meeting the man a couple years ago and almost wrestling him, I’m a big mark of him. Haha

I lost my friggin mind, that figure was so good and then I went to dig him out of the toy box a year or so later and he was randomly missing his leg and he wasn't in that shape when I put him in the toy box. One of life's great mysteries.

Really hope we get another figure of him at some point in the near future.

I feel like they will just reuse the HOF Hogan smiley head for the Legend figure. I quite like that head tbh, for that time period it kind of works. Post Steroid and pre wcw. If they just make his hair and moustache a tad darker/yellower I wouldn’t mind if they used it. Give us a hulk power/hulkster bandanna and a USA bandanna and I’ll be happy. Maybe throw in a hulk rules vest too as well as the USA flag vest?

Was Hogan WM8 confirmed somewhere? If so, that would make a great figure. I kind of am looking for a 1990 era from WM6/Hasbro series 1, but this works too.
