Have there been any leaks or informed speculation about what Hogan attire is in the upcoming legends wave? Don’t know how true but I saw someone who listed the next legends set and listed it at Wrestlemania 8 Hogan and Masked Vader

Why does it feel like we are well overdue for images of these upcoming waves?
It seems like Mattel is really slow right now to reveal product.

I understand that it's annoying, but I can't help but to laugh about how much grown adults complain about these line-ups having repeat figures. "HOW DARE THEY PRODUCE A LINE OF TOYS FOR CHILDREN AND HAVE TH AUDACITY TO INCLUDE MULTIPLE INCARNATIONS OF THE TOP PEOPLE WHO GET THE MOST TV TIME! I WANT MORE RUTHLESS AGGRESSION MIDCARD AND JOB GUYS! RAGHHHHHH!" At the end of the day, it's a business that has to cater more to children than adult collectors. I get that we all would have our wants in a collection, and people are spoiled by how JAKKS put out every single character, but I feel that so many of those figures are just rushed hot garbage compared to the current product.

I would argue that Mattel has been shifting towards more collector oriented things the past year. Twice the amount of flashbacks, the introduction to 70s guys (10 year olds don't know who Billy Graham is for example), collector edition figures. The balance has definitely gone from an 80/20 split to a 50/50 split focus on kids and collectors. I might be in the minority but I think Mattel has done a great job of listening to adult collectors and really putting the suggestions in action. As for characters, it is what it is. like AFA always says, if a legend is available, they will most likely get a figure. The gripe should be with WWE for not signing more legends lol

I'm assuming we're getting more Hogans. No way we're getting only one special figure like they did with Jinder that came with the ring.

As for characters, it is what it is. like AFA always says, if a legend is available, they will most likely get a figure. The gripe should be with WWE for not signing more legends lol I'm a pretty firm believer that Mattel presents the line as being kid-oriented because that's what the licensor wants. Jeremy said in an interview that industry data shows 40% of action figure sales go to buyers over 13, with some lines above that. Adult collectors are a critical segment to the business model, and without the rise in adult collecting, the industry would be in bad shape. And WWE's audience has been skewing older and older, so I'd be shocked if the number wasn't higher than average for this line. I think Mattel has done a really good balancing legends, current roster figures, NXT, and female figures to offer a mix of something for everybody. And from a design standpoint, they've been on top of their game these past two years, though it seems pretty evident corners are cut at times to make budget. But part of my job is negotiating contracts. There are very few true "non-negotiables," and Mattel saves money by only using talent under a WWE deal. If there was a profit motive for that to go the other direction, I don't doubt for a second that it would be changed in the next contract renewal.

Dude. Mattel is WELL AWARE they sell most of their figures to adults. This isn't the 80s.

It will never cease to amaze me that people don't understand why the biggest current stars in the company are always the main focus of the line/get multiple figures/etc.

Like I get why we get so many Roman elites and all but it’s pretty annoying seeing him gone for most of the year and comeback with the same look and Rollins another top guy was there for the entire year and has changed his look up and has got 1 elite all year. While Roman has gotten like 3-4 elites
