Preorder doesn’t mean you get it first. It just means you’ll get it. Did I preorder series 7? Yes. Did I find them in stores before my order shipped? Yes. Did my preorders eventually ship? Yes. Did I preorder series 8? Yes two Orndorff figures which was the only one I thought was a must have for me. Did I find them locally before my preorder shipped? Yes. If I didn’t cancel my preorder would I have received it? I bet I would have still received my preorder.
As long as I can preorder multiple figures to qualify for free shipping I will continue to preorder as a backup in case I can’t find them in stores.

I got an email this morning saying my pre order is now on backorder and pushed to November 20th. I don't mind waiting a little extra if I'm guaranteed to get the figures but I don't understand how a pre order can switch to a backorder. If done properly those should have been put aside as they came in.
