Nah. It ended absolutely terrible. Id rather they left it.... Somebody who had worked on the show said they would have ended it with Dexter being executed with lethal injection and when he looks up the audience is all of his victims. I really loved that idea and wish that would have been the ending. |

I didn't finish the show but heard from my brother about the ending. The last season I watched I think was 5. It was the one after John Lithgow and I just thought the season after him took a dip but the season he was in set the bar high for me. Hopefully if it returns they'll come up with something better to end it. It's a shame that it and Breaking Bad ended the same year and Breaking Bad was putting on a clinic for how to end a show, while Dexter ended so poorly.

I was all about Dexter until the last couple of seasons. Hope this does it justice but I'm not getting my hopes up. With the way the finale ended, it's gonna be weird if he comes back to Miami.

So it’s very likely we see that ending.

I mean hard to gather what the story will be but I expect they’ll be a cat & mouse between police and him bumping off neardowellers.
Just hope he’s not going to be using the force to determine his kills, it was one of the cornerstone to the first time round - he had the access to fresh meat on tap, curious how they play that.
