You mean when wrestling was good... and entertaining.  If you mean NWA and Jim Crockett I agree. WWF? Hell no. I have never liked the cartoon stuff for kids. I've been watching the weekly Prime Time Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling shows from 1986 lately...and guys like Jimmy Garvin and Jimmy Valiant are more annoyingly cartoonish than almost anyone on the WWF roster. |

Huh and here I am. Not even pushing 30. I didn't realise you had to be middle aged to appreciate good quality wrestling though. There’s a joke in here involving quality wrestling, Warrior and WALTER and I can’t place my finger on it. My favourite is Bret but you feel free to let me know when tubsy has a match half as impactful as Warrior/Hogan at Mania 6. |

There’s a joke in here involving quality wrestling, Warrior and WALTER and I can’t place my finger on it. My favourite is Bret but you feel free to let me know when tubsy has a match half as impactful as Warrior/Hogan at Mania 6. You said quality, not impactful. WALTER vs Bate at the UK Takeover in terms of quality, outshines any match Warrior was ever part of. Also, “tubsy”? Come on man. |

WALTER’s a cool talent, and I loved his match with Dunne and Bate, so I’ll probably grab him. I get why some would be upset, but if you think about it, WALTER would probably warm if he was in a main line, sold in retail set. He’s only appeared on NXT UK (outside of Survivor Series 2019 and NXT TakeOver NY), and to be honest, only the diehard wrestling fans watch that. He hasn’t had that much mainstream exposure to the average wrestling fan, and his look that’s not all that exciting would probably make him a shelfwarmer in stores. Kinda like how Tyler Bate was a RSC exclusive. It suits him better. Plus, it’s not mandatory for you to buy him. If anything, if you don’t want him, then it just means more money in your pocket. For the people who do want him, then it’s another new figure of a new wrestler to add to your collection.
I think the problem here was the promotion. They should’ve put a silhouette of WALTER as the teaser promotion, instead of just giving vague hints that could apply to several names, not just WALTER.
