Is that a new torso on him? I can't really tell. Its definitely looks thicker than the Hacksaw/Valentine/Sheik/etc torso.

Happy for you guys that collect current guys. I don’t but I know he’s been a big want for a lot of people. Don’t see why legends collectors need to trash him. It's funny because if a lot of those legends collector's watched modern wrestling, they'd see Walter has a TON in common with their legends that they revere. He is pretty much the epitome of a modern day old school champion.

He's so old-school that JIM CORNETTE loves him.

Before yesterday, people didn’t know a new figure was coming. Yesterday it’s announced a first in the line figure is coming and people automatically get it in their head who they want it to be and when it’s not that person, they throw a fit. I feels like some only have this hobby so they can be miserable about it,
WALTER has a decent sized following, is a champion in the company, has been decently requested, and will do better as an exclusive than if they stuck him in a regular line. Not to mention more NXT UK guys is nice.
It’s an extra figure. If he’s someone you are a fan of or if you’re the type to collect every single character made, then thIs is for you. If you have no interest in him, you saved money.
It’s not as serious as some of you make it. I swear.

Lol But anyways he wouldn't sell at all in the store, so I guess an exclusive had to happen to get him out. To all his 10 fans, im happy for you :-)

I never thought Walter vs Brother Love would be the generational fight between collectors.

Could it be Adam Cole with camo trunks? To go with the preorders of fish and O’Reilley and the recently restocked Roddy Strong? Either that or give us a Walter figure! ringside exclusives are always big deal type talents and Walter does not fit in that category Aged well

All these edgelords trying to be funny - "Who?" "His 10 fans". Try using google. Or watch last year's Survivor Series.
Just because it doesn't appeal to you, or you for some reason you thought they'd release a first time in the line legend like Haku or Brother Love as online exclusive, doesn't mean you need to be a turd. Geez....

Collectors are trashing him because it’s not another 1000th Hogan, Macho, Warrior, or any other jobber 80’s-90’s wrestler. I mean, personally I would prefer any of those guys, but I certainly can’t argue that they deserve another figure over Walter.

And I love the old school style, and he's a fine worker. But he's not my cup of tea. As a figure, it's a solid execution but a pretty bland figure overall. I'm not loving the trend of matte belts. Especially on a figure like this who has very, very limited deco. I'll probably grab him at some point, but I think it might be a little off base to assume that the blase reaction from some is only because they don't watch modern wrestling.

I'm not trying to suggest that's why they're reacting that way. We know the reaction is because they wanted a flashback and it wasn't a flashback. It's more the way the reaction has taken place to create a narrative of "LOL Who is this jabroni. Walter Suxx new wrestling suxx" that I meant gave me a chuckle. Fair take that Walter isn't for you, but I think it is clear he definitely is an old school type wrestler. He's certainly not a flippy indie darling lol!

He has many moments in matches where he does mostly wrestle like a 200lb indy guy despite being huge. I do find this to be a strange choice for an online exclusive though. I would just have assumed he'd be in the main line any series now.
