I thought All Out was great show. I do have some thoughts the Matt Hardy incident was really bad and quite shocking. Did the match need to continue, No. The whole throwing Sammy of the scaffolding was unnecessary and looked and felt rushed. I hope Matt is Okay and has a full and quick recovery. The Battle Royale was fun. i felt so bad for Matt Sydal, the botch killed the excitement a little bit, but i hope he does stick around AEW. The possible match ups he can have will be epic. I was really excited to see Will Hobbs in the match!! I see huge potential in him. I was expecting MJF to walk out with the AEW title, but now i'm really excited for Moxley vs Archer! That's going to be wicked!! I'm giving it 8 out of 10. I was also super excited for Hobbs. I popped for Sydal, but I honestly popped harder for Hobbs. Good kid with a bright future and a story that writes itself. They kept him deep in the match too, hoping that means they have some real plans for him! They are for sure going to have him do something with Brian Cage. Thats going to be a monster match.

The only match I'm hoping at the next ppv is FTR vs Young Bucks, but this is how they should do the next ppv, 7-8 matches. One or two tags(no 6 or 8 man), no battle royals, no out of ring or cinematic matches, and maybe one gimmick match.

It's scary to think how bright MJF's future is. He just has IT in every possible category.

i totally missed this one until reading about it just now Jim Ross received criticism on social media for the following line he used during the AEW All Out PPV “Did Anna Jay have a wardrobe malfunction or is that wishful thinking on my part?” It's definitely cringy, but he was just saying what literally everybody: straight, gay, bi, female, male, non-binary, everybody was thinking it . Very mild compared to the stuff his former broacast partner Lawler used to say. Yet another reminder of the different times we're in. lol

Main event saved the show. Great match.
Enjoyed Mimosa Mayhem as well, ridiculous concept that WWE would be mocked for, but it was fun in the end.
FTR/Omega and Page was fine, but felt like it was missing something which stopped it being great.
The Matt Hardy situation made AEW look amateur though. Terribly handled and a lot of questions to be answered.

I had fun watching. My girlfriend is on vacation, so a night alone with the PPV and some good dinner was a lot of fun. Two things I noticed that stuck out...
While both legends in their own right, Tony and JR both need to go. They can't keep up and just ramble on. It's a shame.
When paying $50 for the show, how many damn times do we need to hear the same advertisements for upcoming Dynamite tickets and the aew shop sale? It was ridiculous.
Aside from that. I enjoyed.

Good to hear Matt is alright. A little unrelated but question...
I noticed the older PPV's are $15 on BR Live (just signed up yesterday) would you guys recommend DON '19 or Full Gear '19?

I’ve read a lot of reviews of this show outside this board and most people unfortunately think just because of the Hardy incident and the opening match it was a bad show. Nevermind that there were more good matches than not.

Nevermind that there were more good matches than not. Like I said, you remove those 2 things and it’s a very good show. I might also cut 10 minutes from the tag title match too. lol

Listening to observer live and one thing I found very interesting, is they both talked about how someone needs to step in a stop Darby Allin. They said it’s one thing to take risks, but they talked about how he is just reckless and he does reckless stuff far too often and he is going to cripple himself or even worse.
I know Darby has talked about how he and Gabe didn’t have a great relationship and that Gabe was trying to control him. I assume this is the kind of stuff that Gabe was saying no too. I love Darby but even I told a buddy of mine the guy has been hurt a lot since AEW started, and he needs to calm down.
