Lots of peeps have missed out in getting a Gorilla Monsoon elite figure myself included... surely the demand is there for th to bring out another Monsoon figure soon.

I wouldn’t expect another Gorilla anytime soon. I’d go ahead and search the secondary market for a decent price on one unless you wanna wait a couple years for maybe a re-release of some sort.

I just want the same commentator look. I dont want wrestling attire gorilla. Maybe a slight difference like a blue jacket or blue tinted glasses.
Maybe package him in a two pack with heenan. Maybe sparkly red jacket heenan?

It was a 'collectors edition' figure that is what happened- these figures are produced in very small quantities (that is why they are called collectors edition) which means only a handful of people will be able to find one. I checked on ebay when it was released and there were few if any which means either they were snatched up or more likely scalpers were unable to find this figure either.
Here in Canada, Walmart has had a listing for Monsoon for several months but the figure was never available so I am not sure why they put up the listing in the first place or more importantly why the heck they won't remove it?!

It's so weird to me seeing this figure so in demand right now, I remember going to a Walmart near me and the only figures left were 4 Gorillas, definitely regret not picking up at least 2 lol, usually this type of collector's edition shelf warm around my area, not a lot of boomer collectors I guess
If it's going to be released again it might be a basic or an elite exclusive to another line, like the Legends one at Target, I don't really see it in the Main line, but who knows

I'd kill for a Ringside Exclusive Monsoon and Heenan (in sparkly tux) with a Prime Time Wrestling set (cardboard back drop of the early and later sets, table, chairs).
