Went to 3 Walmart’s today (all fairly far and far apart) because they showed on brickseek. Go to all 3 and find nothing. I seriously only wanted an Omega, but not I’m starting to think I don’t even want these at all. I’m not wasting time, gas, or ordering off RSC and waiting until November to get an Omega. I’m starting to HATE collecting wrestling figures. It’s really starting to get annoying when stores just don’t care about stocking their shelves. Asked nicely for people to check and even offered them something for their time and yet people still just lie to my face. UGH. What I've found is to go the day after they show up "in stock" See here’s the issue. I noticed multiple stores in the area got them. During the day I noticed a store go from 6+ to 3-4. It was on the way so I stopped by thinking I’d be able to grab an Omega if there was some left. On the way I checked brickseek and it said the 3-4 store now had 6+ again so I assumed they were just filling the shelf with the shipper. Until I went there and the employee just flat out lied to me about it. Said none ever came in. I might try one of these places tomorrow but I doubt I’m going to bother. I won’t have as much time as I did today to do so. |

I only have so many ways of expressing how disappointed I am to not be able to get these They’ll show up eventually. Though nothing is guaranteed when you don’t go with Ringside. |

Say what you want about Mattel, but when they launched the line back in 2010 the figures were at every retailer on Jan 1. Hell in some places the week before Christmas 2009. Jazwares had all the time in the world to get on the shelves in a timely fashion if they just pushed back their release date until late Aug/Early Sept. but to have AEW announcers say they would be on the shelves Aug 1 (or 3) was poor planning on their part which seems to be putting a poor taste in collector’s mouths at the very start. Personally I preordered the ones I had to have from RSC so this lack of figures at WalMart isn’t bothering me like it is others...so it’s not been a stellar debut for them.

These were first found in Texas, so most likely these arrived in one of the ports at Texas. They were then found in Oklahoma and moved north to Illinois and Wisconsin. Most likely these arrived in Texas, and they were then shipped to major distributions around Kentucky, which is why the Midwest has been getting these. Moving these East and West will take time but most likely why it’s been slow to reach the coasts. Being a collector in the Midwest I love this as we always get things last, so I’ll gladly take getting these first. No sign of these in Northwest Wisconsin yet at all. Not saying they’ve hit all of Illinois or Wisconsin, but they’ve been found somewhere in both states. |

Store showed 6+ in stock overnight, so I was there at opening. No figures out. Toy manager said he'd check in the back for it and came back and said he could not find them. He said they were supposed to be on the truck last night that they unloaded, but he can't find them. He said he'd file a claim because they are not there. Ugh. Frustrating. Although, I did file a pickup order last night for 3, and it hasn't been cancelled yet. It says it will be ready by noon. Crossing my fingers.
Stock also showed UFC figs in stock, so I assumed it is the shipper.

Monroe, NC is showing "In stock" on BS this morning; but I wouldn't hold my breath that they'll be there.

I told him I lived 2.5 miles away and would be there ASAP. He had it out for me when I got there and took off the cardboard top. It was untouched. I bought 1 Kenny, 1 Cody, 1 Jericho and left the rest. No chase figures and no Brandi on the shipper. Manager was super helpful. So pumped! I want the Youngbucks, but I'm gonna wait for a different attire. They looked awesome though. These figures are well worth the trouble and wait. Nice job Jazwares. |

I wish I could stain Kenny’s skin to darken him up somehow. Maybe I could start smoking to stain him like my Super Nintendo? Once the skin colors are perfected these will be better than mattel.

Brickseek showed my local Walmart in stock last night, ordered 6 for pickup on the off chance I could secure them that way. Still, decided to go check it out at 7 when they opened today. Saw a fellow collector already at the display and we chatted a little bit, I ended up grabbing all 5 (minus Brandi who was not there) plus another Omega and both Bucks for my loose collection. Someone else showed up while I was leaving the figure section. As of now it says that store has 2-3 left. I also picked up a McGregor UFC figure which is really well done. I’m in palm beach county FL
