Great show tonight, even though I'm sure Cornette will still find stuff to hate about it besides MJF. lol The whole show had an energy right off the bat. The only thing that brought it down a notch for me was the woman's match. Where is Abadon at?? I think they should have just given her a squash match tonight or at least had her come down and attack after the match to add something more to it. Cornette’s probably just upset with this roster because no one called his wife back. |

^^ Lol. They definitely could have found a funnier picture for the last frame for Khan.
They said 8 teams right? If I'm counting everyone who's gonna be available, we'd have from the normal roster
Swole, Shida, Anna, Brandi, Allie, Abadon, Nyla, Ford, Mel, Leva. Add in Diamante and Ivelisse and we're up to 12. So we need like 4 jobbers, that seems doable. They've had a lot more than 4 running around dark the past few months.

In other news, AEW & NXT combined beat the last 2/3 of Raw in the demo and was within 100k of total viewers.

In other news, AEW & NXT combined beat the last 2/3 of Raw in the demo and was within 100k of total viewers. Craziness. Cornette was saying that last weeks rating was simply a mirror image from a few weeks before when NXT won and that it’s essentially all the same people watching and going back and forth. This week represented strong growth, will be interesting to hear how he spins it. AEW is finding their stride and I believe it’s because they are focusing on showcasing Mox, Jericho and everyone in the Elite, essentially all the stars that allowed you to create this promotion in the first place. |

WWE vs live sports in the Covid era could be a blood bath. |

I’m on this very thread saying Cody wasted that thumbtack spot on Free TV with no build against a guy we don’t even know if he’s going to be on AEW going forward. Things like that need to improve. But yeah, even Brian Last admitted this week that AEW was the less offensive show to a wrestling fan versus anything the WWE is doing. That’s begrudgingly saying AEW is better. Jim agreed but said they are still offensive to him as a wrestling professional, and he makes solid points. But your right, he’s never going to outright become a cheerleader for them. |

I’m very pleasantly surprised AEW increased their audience from last week. Hopefully it gets better next week. It’s too bad there won’t be crowds soon:( These shows deserve it so much.
