And because he's a piece of crap, trashing Chella. And Chella does business with a someone who publicly threatened a friend of mine with a firearm and completely ignored it when it brought up to them and they still continue to do business with him. They aren't perfect by any means.

Why do you keep bringing up ZTS unprovoked in the Chella thread? Seems to live rent-free in your head. Why does it bother you? Seems to me it's none of your business jack. Is this a private message? No. It's public message board, so I can respond to it as I see fit, "Jack". Especially when his critiques of ZST ignore the fact that Chella had a 6-month head start on ZTS. They SHOULD have more figures out than ZTS at this point. Basic facts matter if you want to make statements and try to stand behind them.

Oh dear…looks like some folk are trying to turn this into an argument & get another thread shut down….
Anyway, I’ll try to change the subject back to something positive….for the second time in like 5 or 6 posts….
I’m really looking forward to the Haku figure most. I really like the updated design of it; and it’s cool that Haku gave his input to get it changed to better reflect how he wanted it.
I wonder if they’ll get Barbarian….I hope so - it’d be cool to have him match in with Haku.

Good lord.

Maybe cos he made out this is the “best figures ever” designed by a hasbro legend yet not one figure has reached anyone’s hands Tell me....when did Chella announce their line? Now...when did ZTS announce his line? [br I don’t know - I was just answering the question you asked.

I wonder if they’ll get Barbarian….I hope so - it’d be cool to have him match in with Haku. Yeah, Haku is going to be immense to get into the line - one of the missing pieces from the Hasbro timeline and judging by the final Hayabusa product then he's going to fit right in with the Hasbros. I'm also very curious about what they will do with Brian Adams, since we know that Kronic is coming. Does his estate own the rights to Crush? If so then just imagine what could be done with that Or even if they don't, then maybe they can still do some of the Crush outfits that didn't have his name written on them - like the heel 'C' gear maybe? I'm sure we'd all accept it if they released him as 'Brian Adams' in the circumstances. It'll be interesting to see where they go next in terms of signings - Bryan Clarke has spoken very warmly about working with Chella, and we've seen Haku has had input into his figure so he's probably pretty happy with them; that sort of feedback can only help them in recruiting US talent. But their work with Japanese talent as well is very exciting, as it is with the British talent, though maybe there aren't too many more from here that would be worth making? Big Daddy and Haystacks along with Dynamite are all top level amongst the British wrestlers. Lots of potential Japanese options though... Plus they're working with Ethan Page, so perhaps that opens the door to some modern talent as well? But I definitely agree on how great would it be to get Barbarian! He'd look amazing in this form of figure.

Oh dear…looks like some folk are trying to turn this into an argument & get another thread shut down…. Not really. I asked him a simple question. The point I was making: he wanted to point out how Chella had more figures released thus far and used that as some kind of barometer to talk smack on ZST. He completely neglected/ignored the fact that Chella has a 6-Month head start on ZST when they announced their respective lines. He's also ignoring the fact that ZST will be releasing 5 figures at once as opposed to Chella's business model of trickling out 1 figure at a time. Neither business model is "wrong", they're just different. His critique is completely based on bias and has no validity when you deal with the actual facts of the situation. Wait so chella are supposed to breach contract just because some guy online randomly throws an accusation out there? Good lord. It's not an accusation - there was a video of him doing so which I shared in another thread. The video was then shared with the dude's local authorities and investigation was opened. IF they have a contract, this would be be considered an ethics violation under any standard contract. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm sorry some of you feel slighted by ZTS past actions, but as someone who watched most of it played out from afar, almost everyone involved played a part in the way he reacted. At the end of the day, y'all got your International shipping. A bunch of us told you to wait and see. Let things play out. Well when it finally played out, it was all for nothing. He made the International shipping happen. ZTS is a unique dude. He plays a character on his socials and some of you take it way too seriously. It's not for everyone, that's cool. But when you start throwing shade about how his business is run using incorrect facts, don't be surprised if someone calls you out on it. With that said, I'm going to excuse myself from posting in this thread any further.

This isn’t a chella v zombie thing - but since you brought up chella announced their line 6 months before and their figure was out December 2020 and zombie is saying his series 1 will likely arrive feb 2022 that timescale is much larger than 6 months At the end of the day zombie and chella have laid a lot of cash down to get this done, people have laid a lot of cash down to get these figures. I hope for all involved it’s a success. At the end of the day the independent companies have opportunities for superstars mattel don’t due to their licensing agreement so it’s literally a win win if it all goes well - good for the companies, good for the fans and good for the wrestlers. What’s not to like? With that being said, we as potential customers are able to voice our opinion - no one o have read has stated as a fact someone’s model is wrong it’s just different opinions.

Chella: Announced July 2020. To date, we have 4 figures over a 14 month time span. ZTS: Announced January 2021. 5 figures projected to be released 13 months after announcement. They're literally on almost exact same trajectory for the amount of figures released in their first 14 months. In fact, if ZTS pushes out JJ before March, he'll have released more figures in that time period. My point being, if Zombie took it one figure at a time, he'd probably already have a figure or two out by now.

My point being, if Zombie took it one figure at a time, he'd probably already have a figure or two out by now. This is where the different models comes in though - chella’s first figure wasnt perfect, meanie was improvement and since then they have been good Zombie is getting his prototypes in aprox 2 weeks then said Feb likely for release Say there’s a problem with the prototype - that would need to go back to the factory, then they would need to send another prototype and that delays the whole series. Dripping the figures out 1 by 1 gives time to get the creases ironed out. Maybe that’s just my more conservative nature and worrying this that can go wrong will go wrong. Maybe the prototype comes out and it’s perfect and the line is good to go and it’s a huge success. What I don’t get is why people are so strung up on either model - both have pros and cons and it’s up to the company to decide how they want to do it. I’m just giving my opinion. The main thing is irrespective of their models both succeed for all involved

I just really happen to like what Chella is doing right now, so it'd be cool to come to a Chella thread to talk about Chella figs rather than some other company I've no interest in who can have their own thread.

Which of the Chella figures do you have ordered? Are you getting all of them or do pick and choose just those that interest you especially?

For me it’s pick and choose - there are some like bull who hit me right in the perfect timeline. Others like the more modern day I’m not too fussed with. Dynamite I got being a big fan of his work

I got an Aldis and Hayabusa, waiting on a Dynamite, Bull Nakano, Ethan Page. I will definitely get Haystacks and Big Daddy. I'll get any World of Sport figs they put out, I think thats super cool. My old man would go on about Rollerball Rocco, and then I watched some of his matches on the wrestling channel years later, so I'd really like a Rollerball figure at some point, however likely or unlikely that might be. Edit: and Adrian Street!

YEah -- let's keep on topic. I'm so interested to see future Chella retros.
The Hayabusa is amazing, and some others. I don't love the Adam Bomb skin tone though -- it needs the sheen that Hayabusa has!

I was lucky enough to pick up a Hasbro Adam Bomb at reasonable prices, I picked up Black Tights Shawn, Heel Crush and Adam Bomb from a collectible toy store in Johnstown, PA about 20 plus years ago. However, I am also getting the Chella Adam Bomb. I really like the look of the Chella figure as it’s not missing things that the Hasbro release was.
I’ll also pick up the KroniK that Chella release whenever that time comes. The Hasbro figures are probably my favorite figures from when I was a kid and these releases hit me right in the nostalgia.
I know not everyone enjoys the Mattel Retros, but, I hope they pick up the releases a bit and can offer some great companion figures for our collections. I’d love to see an updated Rick Rude, Sean Waltman/X-Pac, or even a Road Dogg/Roadie/Jessie James. And for the love of all things holy can someone PLEASE release a retro Vader?
