^^^ I don’t understand either. There were a couple first time in the line, plus a bunch of other legend/flashbacks. People want more, they’re getting more. But it’s not good enough if it’s not exactly what they want. It's a WFigs SDCC tradition -- every year I'm happy with the reveals and then I come on here and see people all pissed off, lol. I swear, Mattel could announce that they're giving away $1000 with a certain figure and some people would complain that they're not getting $2000. I'd like some more first-time legends, too ... to me, that's the only possible disappointment. I don't need any more different looks for DiBiase, Eddie, Warrior, etc. But we're still getting a picture-perfect Io Shirai, a Lawler I've wanted for a decade now, and almost all of the new elites for new modern characters look awesome. No need to hate.

A ton of great stuff! Can’t wait to get all that I can however my only complaint is the fact that I will NEVER see or be able to obtain some of these chase and exclusives figs fingers crossed though!

I'm happy to see that Mattel is pumping out Hogans...
When Summerslam Miss Elizabeth was announced we were all like "Mega Powers gotta be the next 2 pack." We got a US title that comes with 2 not so good figures instead. Many were speculating on which Hogans we'd see. Python Power, Wrestlemania 7, Rip from No Holds Barred and the workout Hogan they showed a few years back just to name a few.
I like the Dibiase and Beefcake figs they showed. The Wrestlemania 3 and 6 ring carts are awesome. The MOTU figs of Mr. T and Jake are must buys for me. There was some good things shown for sure but...
...but where is Hogan? I wasn't expecting every Hogan ever, but I thought for sure we'd see more than this. Maybe they still have more to show, but I would imagine if they did, they would have shown it already.
Again, not a bad showing. Its just heavily lacking in the Hogan department.

Just a guess, but I imagine from a marketing perspective they don't want to jump the gun on the Ultimate Hogan being his big return back to the line. Keep all the focus on that, sell a billion of them, and then pump out the Macho/Hogan two-pack, 1,000 elites, etc. I can see them not wanting to undercut that Ultimate Hogan.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that is what is great about this forum.
But for me, this was a very good year of reveals.
Dakota Kai Tegan Nox British Bulldog with Matilda Hollywood Hogan Xavier Woods with the UpUpDownDown belt King Corbin Ultimate Fiend Firefly Funhouse Bray Mae Young Stunning Steve Austin Rhea Ripley Dream Team Beefcake Chyna Mania 9 HBK Survivor Series Kane Survivor Series Morrison
I understand every year will not be for everyone and that is okay, but for me, this was a really good year.
The only thing I was a little surprised we did not see was a Brock Party Lesnar.

Things like this are why we've waited now almost 6 years for a Hollywood Hogan, and who knows what could happen in the next few months. They should be pumping out Hogans like crazy before some other crap happens and we don't get any at all

Just because Goldberg and Bret got a 2 pack doesnt mean there arent plans to make Mega Powers or other Hogan figures.

If you're Mattel, you don't want to announce the three Hogans we've been waiting for all at once and have some folks just picking their favorite of the group.

The other reveals with Beefcake, MDM etc pretty much confirmed those listings. Would have liked to have seen that and Taker (who was also in the listings). Seemingly those 2 will anchor series 9 and 10.

To not have learned their lesson for dragging their feet last time is bizarre. While I can see why they want the focus on the Ultimate Hollywood, they need to get others out quickly. You can never have too many Hogans anyway. His figures are guaranteed sellers. Don't hold back. Look what happened with the Ric Flair ultimate. They waited too long. He should have been one of the first ultimate figures they made as he is one of the biggest names ever.

What big legends are left that Mattel hasnt made yet? All of the huge names have already been made.

What big legends are left that Mattel hasnt made yet? All of the huge names have already been made. From a figure perspective, the two biggest left on the board are probably Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett is a shoe in if his legal issues with Impact ever get resolved. And I don't see Scott ever happening with WWE. Beyond that? They've pretty much covered every top-top name in modern wrestling history. Still plenty of ground that could be covered outside of that, obviously.

It's more about mid-card guys that haven't gotten figures, along with complaints that different looks of the huge names haven't been made.
