My opinion only, but it's a mystery to me why anyone under the age of 40/50 would want either of these anyway. Same goes for all these other "in-demand", 60's/70's/80's legends... I mean, how many people here are actually old enough to remember seeing people like Blassie, Graham, Sammartino, Muraco and Harley Race, wrestle/appear either in person, or on TV? Not a hell of a lot, I'm guessing. I'm 40 myself, didn't start watching 'till the mid-80's - so don't remember seeing any of them, and thus, have not had any inclination whatsoever to buy any of them. Valentine, I do remember, but he's so plain and bland, I won't be buying him either. The only time I've seen Harley Race on tv, is when they brought him in to be "killed" by Orton. Like I said it's just my view, but I've never understood - even going back to the JAKKS CS days, why people have a desire to own figures of talent, they're not old enough to remember - or in some cases, hadn't even been born. The arrogance in this post is absolutely amazing. You're aware that people who really love the history of wrestling go back and watch old footage, right? I don't have to be old enough to remember seeing those guys on TV to want them. I was born in 1991, my favorite era of wrestling is the mid to late 80s. Why? Because I grew up watching these things called video tapes of that era.

Mattel has severely underestimated the demand in ‘pre- wrestlemania’ era guys. I believe Bill said in the past they felt there was not enough demand for guys older then that time period. That’s why Graham has his 80s head included (they didn’t think a 70s version would sell on its own) why Harley race was King Harley WWF version. (“Nobody would remember/want an nwa Harley”) Mattel brings back the legends line and get snake bitten by sting & 2 Greg Valentine. But instead of Valentine, Superstar Billy Graham would of made more sense as two figures in the line. It’s another reason why he’s selling well; people feel they need 2 figures for both eras. If we're being honest, Mattel's got a ten year track record of badly misreading collector demand and making questionable choices for who they make and what attires they make. People like to dunk on Jakks (justifiably so in a lot of regards) but Jakks wouldn't have blown a layup as easy as "we have three years to put out the most popular version of the Hardyz" or "Let's make two Jimmy Snuka figures in attires that literally nobody wants and never put out a barefoot Snuka".

It's interesting how Blassie and Graham, who were shelf warmers in the Jakks classic era, are in higher demand now.

WWE didn’t really do a great job of educating their newer Attitude audience on people before them. They didn’t lean heavily into that until like 2006 or 2007 when they started doing all those documentary DVDs

I can't speak for everyone, but I skipped A LOT of figures from Jakks that I bought the Mattel equivalent of. IMO they're just so much better, I gotta have em.

HAHAHAHA, what a bad take.

I'm 35 myself, didn't start listening to music 'til the late-80's - so don't remember hearing any of them, and thus, have not had any inclination whatsoever to buy any of their records. Guns n Roses, I do remember, but they're so plain and bland, I won't be listening to them either. As of 5 minutes ago Valentine is the only Legends series 7 still up for preorder on Target. Some of you better get over there before he sells out again.

I'm glad I jumped on one right away. Rather pay Ringside $30 than drive around forever to not find one or end up paying that much or more to someone on ebay

I had plenty of time and opportunity to buy it, even having it in my cart along with set of E78 twice, I just never pulled the trigger. Didn’t think it would sell out like it did. Now of course, I regret it and I hope RSC puts him up for Pre-Order 2 so I can jump on that ASAP!

I had SBG in my cart when he was $35 but ultimately decided to pass for now. Going to need to see a pic of the actual figure-not just a render.
