Doesn't Taz own the rights to the FTW title? They should put that with him.

That's a pretty subjective thing to say. I personally think the guy comes off as a shady human being and a joke according to those things but hey if you're into that more power to ya pal. I tend to think things like him ing Traci Brooks while working in TNA and lying to Daffney about TNA not wanting her so as to not blow his cover is worse than literally everything you listed but hey, alright. I mean there's also all the dudes he treated like sh*t and had issues with on the indies as well but yeah, him clashing with WWE management is what makes him a bad person. Ok, buddy. I'm sorry you sound passive aggressive in all your posts how am I suppose to decipher that you genuinely had more dirt on why he's a p.o.s.? You're faulting me for not knowing more hard hitting material on the guy? I absolutely had no idea he screwed over Daffney and treated other people like shit... I can only list what I know

I know with the speculation of Sting/AEW stuff is rampant now with Sting being cancelled from the Mattell Legends line. I just want to say I have close friends in AEW who have mentioned that AEW definitely has a legends line of figures coming out with The Rock n Roll Express being the first ones signed. So maybe Sting has signed as well? Well tell your "source" they need to sign and make a proper figure of cornette. He has a whopping 2 figures made and they both suck by 2020 standards.

That's crazy I remember owning that shitty Jakks figure from the BCA line. He's long overdue for a figure.

Cornette is pretty high up my want list. But I do wonder if his heat with Kenny and the Bucks might be an issue.
Even without Cornette, I'd love to see the Midnight Express.

Cody’s no fan of Corny because of that stuff either. If they did anything with him it’d have to be like Jakks signing Warrior on their own. Doubt he’d go for it though

Corny seems happy with the bootleg RA figure that one company did of him.

Guys, I was joking about Punk and making reference to the old Ringside Collectibles Jakks picture of Steve Austin from Signature Series. They used ransom letter typing saying it was the most popular figure ever. Chicago probably knows what I'm talking about. But for reals I want legends too. I wish we could get news on it. Or really any news on the AEW line.

Unless they're significant to the brand with a recurring character on TV and PPV, it's simply not worth it at this stage. That should be an idea for down the road. Maybe two years in, once the main players have been established.

Personally, I would prefer to have a legend and a female wrestler in each wave if possible. That way, it would also thin out the maximum amount of releases for the male talent, ideally keeping each wave more star studded instead of making all of their top stars at once.

That way, it would also thin out the maximum amount of releases for the male talent, ideally keeping each wave more star studded instead of making all of their top stars at once. I think something along those lines is an ideal setup. AEW has a very small roster, especially when you consider that a good number of the talent are basically "developmental" signings. With 6 figures per wave, you're going to burn through the roster fast before you get to the likes of the Beaver Boys, QT Marshall, Peter Avalon, etc. Even someone like Wardlow really hasn't seen a ton of in ring time on tv to sell a figure to a national audience. It's smart to start with the existing talent under contract. But I think we see Legends incorporated into the line sometime next year, and it would be very plausible that they could be contracting external talent right now. In this retail environment, I don't see it making sense for a standalone Legends line. But no question that incorporating them into the main line makes a ton of sense financially and stretching out the roster.

If I'm not mistaken, Sting owns his own trademark. So I'd assume, like Hogan and the Storm figures, he could license his own likeness rights to Jazwares for the figure.
I'd love to see a proper wrestling gear Taz figure. It's one I've wanted since I lost my Jakks Rulers of the Ring figure all those years ago.

My guess is within a few series we see a legend here and there mixed in. Doesn’t seem like it makes sense for a unique legends only line unless its infrequent small sets.
We neeeeed a proper Taz

I'm guessing any potential legends will be their own line. Maybe one set of 6 figures once a year. The reason I don't think they will be incorporated into the main line is that the top AEW guys are going to get multiple figures. I mean, we're all waiting for the next Young Bucks release and that's 2 slots out of 6 in an upcoming set. Not to mention that we've only had one female wrestler in two sets. If the rate of female wrestlers is increased to 1 per set and we add a legend per set the breakdown comes down to 2 current roster, 1 female, 1 legend and 1 tag team. I think tht will slow down the rate of figures we want too much.
While an annual set of Legends would be a super popular set. Just for fun, here's my first Legends set.
Sting (assuming he signs) Billy Gunn Dean Malenko Taz Arn Anderson Tully Blanchard

The best way to execute this would be as very limited RSC Exclusive line. Twice a year, 6 figures per line. They’d be able to sign guys TNA had like the Steiners, Sting, etc., as well as guys that they currently have featured on TV in some capacity, such as RNR Express, Taz, Jake, DDP, JR, Schiavone, Jericho, etc.
