At this point I'm pretty much going to say I think that they meant tomorrow instead of today.

Mattel: "Hi Mr.Target, Mattel again. How are the numbers looking on the Legends?" Target: "Amazing! We can't keep Spider-Man in stock!" Mattel: Funny thing is Spidey and X-Men sell REALLY well haha. Yeah when I was a corporate buyer for a book store I had to keep up with comic sales to order accordingly with Diamond Comics. Spider-Man was always near the top. I'd imagine that those sales translate to the figures as well.

Relatively easy to find, actually was on clearance some places as recent as late ‘17-Early ‘18 is now going for about $180 MOC/MIP. Spider-Man from the 2015 Hobgoblin Build A Fig wave, commonly known as “Pizza Spidey (due to having a plastic slice of Pizza with the figure along with like 3 sets of interchangeable hands and an extra head that has the mask pulled up over his nose exposing his mouth) which was a general release in late 2015-early 2016, commonly goes for over 100 in package

I can totally identify.... totally not worth all the time it's taking to get some of these things. And I think I'm at the point where I'll just pay the outrageous scalper prices for the figures I REALLY want..... And just not buy - not get - the figures I "kinda" want but can't seem to get easily. Cuz that's the way it's been for a while - and I don't see things getting ANY easier following COVID-19..... I feel like we're not going to see new figs in stores for like a year (or more). thats why i just preordered the fiend off ringside because I know finding him in stores when he does hit probably won’t be worth the aggravation. That's why I'll never bitch about RSC's prices. I'd rather pay a bit over retail for someone like Dunne, Black and the Fiend (all of whom I either preordered or bought as soon as they went back in stock) than pay a scalper on the bay lots more, because I know I'll never find them at retail. Can't wait for them to have Blassie and Graham up.

And that TRU exclusive Dark Phoenix two pack is VERY pricey too. That's why I always bite the bullet and get the ones I can't find at retail online as soon as I can, the most sought after Legends usually never go down in price.

And I’m in for any Comic book based figure. Plus Hasbro will do make goods and will actually check the secondary market (they’ve admitted to this) to see what figures are sought after and schedule them for re-paint. Rogue in that style will come back out with a different headsculpt and either duller or shiner paint scheme on her green on the uni to get people to double dip. Hasbro has gotten really clever giving us what we want.

Rogue and Cyclops made my wallet hurt

A lot of the Legends I have correspond with the comics. Like my last year working for the company saw the release of titles like Silk #1 and Spider-Gwen #1 so when those Legends came out, I bought them. The Silk figure is amazing.
