man i can remember how everyone was complaining about those first couple legends series clogging shelves/pegs all over the country, and then they re-released a few in that "Hall of Fame" series and it was double-peg warming. now most, if not all, of those are selling for 3x the amount you would have paid when they hit If you bought all the Legends figures from 2010-2012 and sold them 8-10 years later...$$$$$$

Can I borrow it for a week? I'll give it back, I promise...

I never had a fair chance of getting Demolition or Hillbilly Jim I saw Orndorff once in a Kmart in another state but didn’t buy him and I’m mad at myself about that now. But he’s getting a new one so it’s not so bad

Kinda off topic question. I wasn't collecting at the time, but why was Legends 5 only 4 figures compared to the usual 6 in the other sets?

I was extremely lucky and managed to get all the ones I wanted, If I remember correctly I remember having to sign in or register on the Mattel website I think to get them.
I don't think we are going to be getting a Sunka, Rick Martel, AKeem or Tornado anytime soon. For that matter I don't think we will be seeing Ax or Smash either which is a real shame.
I do hope we get an updated Vader. I am glad we are getting an updated Jake Roberts in the new line up

Like it’s an obvious choice now that they made that hand mold

I maybe read that last year - but if they do...this (V finger) seems obvious to me.

With all the layoffs I’d be surprised if wwe keeps signing legends. I think some of the current legends deals will eventually expire and we are gonna end up with just stone colds, rocks, and Hogans. Yes but that’s hopefully only temporary. And I’d be fine with just repaints for a little while to be honest. Hogan has a lot of looks to do and they’ve still not made a 2002 Rock or 1998 Undertaker WWE has really cut back on legends deals over the last few years. And overall there's been less emphasis on classic content across their video games, trading cards, the Network, etc. The top names will be be there, and I'm sure they'll keep some mid card guys signed for autograph apparances and licensed merch. But it seems like that roster is shrinking, not growing. As deals expire, I seem a lot of legends not being re-signed. I'd love to be wrong, but right now I only know of a handful of legends signed who haven't had a figure going back to 2018.

Not sure if he got bumped from the line and then put on pause due to his death or if he is no longer under a deal. But I'd love to see him in the line again.

I hope he can appear again too - I feel like I would probably try to buy any Vader figure that got released! haha He was one of my favorite big guys in wrestling growing up.

You know, I was addicted to BTTF as a kid, and I always looked at the second one and said "He's doing it wrong". You don't go into the future for gambling results. As the Biff To The Future comics proved, that can end badly, and only last you for so long. No, what you do, is go back to the past and have Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle sign some baseball cards, and bring them into the future. You might get some questions about how they look so pristine, but if you played it right, such as getting an already aged copy for them to sign, it would work.

Is Vader still under legends deal?

Is Vader still under legends deal? No way of knowing, but I don't think he's been in any licensed WWE products since 2018. He also had a Micro Brawler figure, but not sure if that means anything one way or the other. My guess is that his deal has expired.

I wonder if the family is bitter about Vader not going into the Hall before he died. Could be a reason if he doesn't have a deal in place.

Honestly I think it's just WWE not focusing on legends content. WWE has an absurdly large roster. Why spend extra money to sign legends when you can just push your existing roster and presumably keep a bigger cut of the profits?

That relaunched Legends series is going to be a bunch of repaints.

Red or purple would've been awesome. It's surprising when you think about how many legends got a figure but are no longer under deals :/
