Up until recently I was like many Millennials - far left, pro-Sanders, anti-war, anti-capitalist, often going beyond socialism into Marxism, interested in all things to do with challenging the status quo on gender and orientation.
Is it possible that all of this anti-establishmentarianism among Millennials has to do with us being on the high intelligence autism/Asperger’s spectrum? Give me your thoughts!

I'm on the autistic spectrum and I work my ass off to be a well informed, compassionate human being that contributes to his society with hard work and a positive influence. That being said, you again. Because you don't get to use my condition as a scapegoat for whatever it is you detest about people are who either ill informed or unnecessarily extreme in their behavior. |

That being said, you again. Because you don't get to use my condition as a scapegoat for whatever it is you detest about people are who either ill informed or unnecessarily extreme in their behavior. I’m saying that I myself am included in this - I have Bipolar and OCD, and imagine I’m “on the spectrum” as a lot of Millennials and brilliant people are. Mainly I think we should be proud of who we are, just aware too. And even though my politics have gotten more moderate, most of my friends are still on the far left and that’s fine. |
