The Summer of Punk happened at Money in The Bank 2011, Punk stealing the WWE Championship. Punk was on top and in a damn big way. Even if he just left with the title. Things, on Raw were reaching new level of unstable. A tournament was held to crown a new champion. In concluded at Summer Slam 2011, with John Cena and Daniel Bryan (stays on Raw in our reality). The underdog would be accused of condoning the actions of Punk. Due to the indy nature of both men, as it would put Bryan at odds. As well as the disbelief in him with John Cena. Daniel Bryan and John Cena at Summer Slam 2011 would burn the house down, with Bryan scoring the victory in a eye brow raising finish with Cena's foot under the ropes. Daniel Bryan and Cena would continued to be pushed to a new limit. Bryan and Cena both viewed this a needing a proper ending. Things would get more personal with both men brawling and getting very heated with each other over what occurred at Summer Slam 2011. Night of Champions 2011 served as the venue for the two men to do battle, but the C.O.O Triple H would enforce law. Being added into the nature as the grassroots of Bryan and Triple H's rivalry was planted with Bryan seeing Triple H's dislike of him for being indy grown. Bryan and Cena would put on another fantastic showing, only for The Miz who has reunited with John Morrison (Runner ups) who have grown disgruntled with the state of Raw making a statement. Both men would brutalize Bryan and Cena. Morrison and The Miz were form a coalition of stars vowing to remove Triple H from power. The duo also saw Cena as the reason for Punk's victory, and Bryan as working for Punk. Cena and Bryan were forced to team up and put their differences aside to take out the mutual threat of Morrison and Miz. No Mercy 2011 was a a heated contest, with Miz and Morrison dividing a conquering showing themselves as a true threat for the title. Miz and Morrison would be fired from Triple H, after beating Bryan and Cena to a pulp at No Mercy. Triple H would fire Miz and Morrison for there actions, as things were set for Vengeance 2011. Only for Morrison and Miz to ''sue'' the WWE for unlawful termination. WWE was on the brink with multi millionaire lawsuit. Only for John Laurnitis to remove Triple H from power and reinstate Morrison and Miz making a Fatal 4 way for Vengeance 2011 for the WWE Championship. John Cena would come out with a victory, Cena would embrace in regaining the WWE Championship, Cm Punk would return with the WWE Championship. Punk would question the idea of Cena being a champion and Punk as the true champion. Survivor Series 2011, was on the card for one WWE Champion. Cena and Bryan's rivalry still lingered in the shadow. Many, didn't believe in Cena as he was the man who failed the first time. John Cena and Punk would make Survivor Series at the Garden beyond memorable. But, in the end Cm Punk would be the Undisputed Champion. Punk would soon gain a attitude against John Laurnitis. Punk wouldn't comply with ''Martial Law'' on Raw, and would refuse to compete. Cena and Bryan's rivalry exploded as both men gunned for a shot. Laurnitis who has already started to despise Punk made a triple threat for Armageddon 2011. It went every way it was none stop. Punk walked out the WWE Champion playing off his two rivals. John Laurntiis would take personal offensive to Punk's victories. Lautnritis would create a concept so unheard of to counteract this, not one would of thought. For the first time ever the WWE Champion would defend the championship in a Royal Rumble. Cm Punk would enter as #1 and would defy all the odds and eliminate Daniel Bryan in the final two. Bryan would be given the nod for being the last standing to Punk as well as the clash of personalities. Bryan would blame punk to dishonoring indy superstars. Punk and Bryan would put on a classic match at No Way Out 2012, although at odds. Bryan would shun Laurntis's helping hand. Cm Punk and Bryan would bring it, only for it to end in a draw with both shoulders be counted it.

Cm Punk would seem to move forward on to Mania, only for Bryan to be furious and Laurntis to refuse to help out Daniel Bryan. Until Daniel Bryan would attacking and assault Laurntitis. Only for Bryan to raise a spam to bring himself back after a firing. Bryan would win 1# contenders fatal 4 way match. Bryan and Punk was set, but this Laurntitis was directly in the middle of it. Laurntis's job hung in the balance. Corporate have grown sick of Punk, and if Punk won Laurntis would be fired. Bryan and Punk sought to settle there issues with no bs. Bryan would view himself as the man who could defeat Punk, as Punk he brought Punk to the brink of defeat. Punk would accuse Bryan of being in kahoots with Johny Ace with all the odds Johnny Ace stacked against Punk. Corrupt Refs, Paid off superstars, Johnny Ace himself, Bryan and Punk both fought the outside none sense defeating Daniel Bryan. Cm Punk has slowly began the process of turning face. Cm Punk and The Rock would both see controvesey among eachother as Punk seeing the fact he should of main evented WrestleMania. A challenge was made for Summer Slam 2012, Punk and Rock. Punk's goal was getting to Summer Slam 2012 to defeat The Rock. But, the return of Chris Jericho stood in the way. Jericho would try to prove himself a friend to Punk. A new authority has risen by the board, and that man's going to be Ric Flair. Ric Flair who had been portrayed as returning to the WWE on falling on hard times was viewed as a sellout due to a more corporate sense and being viewed as a puppet. Punk would see Flair in the shadow of what he was and that a general manager was far from the glory. Jericho would also turn heel attacking Punk and revealing his true nature and alliance to Flair. Punk and Jericho would put on a clinic at Backlash 2012, but it was Punk who won by a crattle through a Walls of Jericho. Jericho would get in Punk's head as well as savagely beat up Punk. Jericho would mention himself of exhausting Punk to the point of no return and it was a fluke. Odds would be put in Punk's place week to week, Over The Limit so the follow up. Things had reached new level of personal and Punk would snap refusing to let go of a andaconda lock having officials rush over. Punk would show a new edge, and things at Extreme Rules were stepped up to a Unsanctioned match. With the odds against Punk, but the savagery of both men was amplified. Punk would defeat Jericho at Extreme Rules 2012. Ric Flair would be in a panic, as Punk has stuck it to him. Ric Flair would enlist greed as his prime way to take Punk out of the running. Ric Flair would reward five men the chance of a lifetime. Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, The Big Show The Miz in a Elimination Chamber at Great American Bash. Greed would divide the stars, but many past foes would play a role with all of them knowing Punk very well in all of this. Punk would spam the champion last taking out John Cena. Ric Flair would try to get Ziggler to cash in his Money in The Bank, but Rock would save Punk and fight Ziggler off. Ric Flair would soon be consumed in Chris Jericho who Ric Flair belittled and mocked. Jericho would turn face and face whoever Flair would put in his way. Punk and Rock was set, both men would only trade heated shoots and promos. The hype was set for Summer Slam 2012, and Punk and Rock made another classic. Punk would walk away the victory, but it would only create a new attitude. The Rock offered a hand shake of peace, only for Punk to brutally attack Rock and beat him down to a pulp. Punk's vicious turn was shown as response to the bandwagon of fans. Punk would would bash the idea of those supporting him now. Ric Flair was fired the night after Summer Slam 2012 after his failures with Jericho and Punk. Punk would go on for 2 weeks to make statements and attack superstars. Punk would pick a fight with the wrong man. Punk would come to grips with Kane. Kane would ignite and hunt down making Punk's life a living hell. Building to a conclusion of cat and mouse at Night of Champions 2012, only for Punk to slip out with a DQ. Cm Punk would be met with the new General Manager, Mick Foley. The idea was Foley can embrace the chaos and that's what was needed to Raw in 2012. Foley wouldn't let Punk off the hook and booked Punk and Kane in the Hell in a Cell at Vengeance 2012. Punk would even pay bounties off to take Kane out. Kane finally had Punk at Vengeance 2012, but Punk would rise to the occasion defeating Kane in a huge victory. Punk would reopen his rivalry with John Cena. Cena would finally become 1# contender after being kept away from the title and recovering from a year of hell. Cena and Punk was going for Survivor Series and it was based on Cena continued failures with Punk. Only, for The Rock to intervene. The Rock returned to finish what he had started with Punk only crossing lines with Cena again. Cena, Rock, and Punk was made for Survivor Series 2012. Punk would win, and this would feature the debut of the Shield. Punk would stand tall and state himself at the top of the WWE. Punk was WWE Champion and proud. But, John Cena would earn himself one more shot only by driving Punk's nuts and digging deep beyond the surface of the pro pipe bomb dropper. Cena had his match but under one condition, it was a Last Chance Match. Punk and Cena faced off at Armageddon 2012 in the most dramatic match they had yet, Cena came to new levels. But, once again Punk would take the victory. Punk would host career memorial for Cena and live in the fact of Cena's defeat. Randy Orton would make a huge burst defeating Punk twice in None Title matches and getting the best of Punk. Driving Punk nuts, Orton was built as the most unpredictable threat to the championship. Randy Orton and Punk and Punk headed in to the Rumble with Punk winning. Mick Foley had concluded his Shield investigation and stood to accuse Punk. It would turn out the Shield were never hired by Punk and they were rogue. Punk would mention Foley at trying to passivily take the title away not like flair and laurnitis who had a job to do. Punk would see Foley through envy. It would encourage Foley one more time to fight, one chance and one more shot at glory. No Way Out 2013 saw Foley come in as one final time to take on Punk in a Hardcore match for the title. Punk would come out more of a seasoned star then he already was in a winning effort. Punk would end his feud with Foley.
it was WrestleMania 29, John Cena won the Rumble and it was Cena's choice. Face the man he's never beaten, or to new horizon. Cena was almost swayed to SmackDown by the offer and contract. As well as the nostalgia and a chance at rebirth. Cena came back to his old foe. Cena saw Punk as the start of the downfall and that it was time to write that very wrong. John Cena's whole life and career of 2012 was on display against the legacy of Punk putting together this sense of doubt in Cena. John Cena would defeat Cm Punk for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 29 ending the rivalry.
