Question on Jakks annoying stickiness

I recently opened some Jakks LOD figures and the shoulder pads on both had a sticky residue on them. Is there a remedy for this?? Thank you for any help or suggestions!

That could be the plastic decomposing from age, that same thing has happened to some older figures I had in storage. Try washing and scrubbing most of it off, then coat with some sealer. It won't stop it from decomposing but at least it won't be sticky anymore.
