It is scalping any way you look at it. It’s marked up higher than the rest of the figures in the wave. If this was a ebayer seller or any other online store people would complain. I don’t care for this figure, but I feel for those who want it and have to pay about $50 or whatever the price tag is after shipping.

Exactly, it's even worse than scalping because RSC's profit margins are higher than an eBay resller who buys from retail, rather than getting it much much cheaper at wholesale.

I wonder how much they pay per figure I encourage people that are defending RC on this to remember it next time they complain or get mad at ebay sellers.

Come on, guys, let's stay on topic and just talk about the figure itself and not about your thoughts on what is and isn't considered scalping. This is how threads about legitimate topics get locked.

If they did sell them for less than $30 some reseller would just buy 10 of them to flip for $50 each on ebay. I'm surprised it's not more frankly, at $35 you can get it easily if you really don't want to hunt and it's also high enough that it isn't worth a reseller ordering more than 3, so I think it's pretty fair.
I wish I could get one, I got into SH Figuarts and spent like $600 on several figures, that used up all my WWE budget.

A lot of these comments are going to be missing in a few hours. It doesn't like when you speak truths about its ringside.

Scalping...not scalping...all I know is have fun hunting a first time elite flashback themed chase figure that is .25 cases at retail during the Christmas rush at stores that might have notoriously bad distribution. Or this could possibly not hit until after Christmas when stores stock is pretty much boo until maybe March. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here comfortably with my Gold Standard by normally high noon tomorrow. Maybe it would be different if it was someone worth a shit. You can have your gold standard. Hell, if I find one, you can have mine too. $35 is too much for the real Shelton Benjamin. Much less a figure of him.

And as far as I'm concerned, 15 dollars extra for a figure found in every 1/4 cases is completely worth it. Saves me time, money (on ebay), and gas.

They're not running to Target and hoarding all the figures available to the public and pricing them up. You can pay a premium for a hard to find figure (that is in at least a month usually before it hits retail and save gas/time) or not. No one's forcing you to. I gladly paid $30 for Diesel and Kevin Nash in Elite 16 when they first came out from RSC and got them delivered to my door and didn't have to spend $100 on eBay. If I wanted Shelton I'd do the same now. They're a store ... that sells wrestling figures. It's in 1 of 4 cases. This isn't some crazy concept here.

$35 isn't that much money to me so it doesn't matter.

We’re really gonna charge more for the variants well it’s ringside and it’s 1 per four cases. What do you expect? Most retailers don’t charge more for Funko Pop variants, they’re sent out at random

If you don't like getting your figures two months early and without the question of whether your stores in your area will actually stock this series or will you be able to find them without driving all over Timbuktu than don't order from them. If, however, you want it to be securely assured that you will get that hard to find to figure, before the stores get them, without having to waste gas. Well Ringside is for you.
