ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Falcons will meet with free agent Byron Leftwich and could sign him as soon as Tuesday.
Shocking

MORTEN ANDERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!
Anyway, I don't know how I feel about Leftwich. I'm really not sure he's going to be any better than Harrington, especially with our offensive line. He's a statue in the pocket. Not that Harrington is mobile, but he's more mobile than LeftNoSandwichUneaten.

I don't know if this has been discussed already, but I notice this year that a lot more teams are wearing their white jerseys at home. Is there a reason for this?

its because of the weather, teams wear white jerseys instead of the dark ones because in some places its really hot out.

I really liked the yellow Steelers helmet. I wish they would wear that more often.

This game is terrible. Charles Barkley should be on Monday Night Football every week.

God Damn! Another should be fairly easy game for us, we come out on the losing end. What a bunch of shit! This team is really starting to piss me off. McNabb was very erratic with his throws, and needs some damn accuracy! He had Curtis wide open on that third down and led him too much! McNabb needs to ing learn how to not overthrow, lead, whatever you wanna call it, with his receivers.

McNabb has always done that to his receivers - throwing at their shins or making them jump for it... But I do love him for throwing 8 passes to Brian Westbrook tonight because points-per-reception let me win my fantasy game by 2 points.

If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have even had a chance. This team needs to sit down this week and look at the fundamentals of the game like, how to throw a correct pass, how to defend against the run, how to tackle, etc. All of these things cost us a game in which should have been more in the favor of the Eagles.

Man I'm looking forward to this Sunday. We'll be able to see what the Packers are really made of against San Diego. Of course after that demoralizing loss at NE, maybe they'll feel a little down

Well I said preseaon that Philly would be battling it out with Washington for the bottom of the NFC East. I can say that I think they'll get it because they looked awful.

But it is really because of the hot weather at least in the cases of Jacksonville, Tennessee, Tampa, Carolina and Miami. Washington always wears white at home.. and i'm not really sure why Philly is wearing white at home because it's not really a hot city, but they did the same thing early in the season last year, when they played NY and Dallas at home. So maybe it's hotter in Philly than we think. Also.. Tank Johnson is expecting to sign in Dallas. Won't be able to play til week 9, but with the loss of Ferguson, I definitely wouldn't mind him coming to Dallas.

Hehehe the Ravens are accusing the Jets of stealing defensive playcalls during their game last week..hehe I thought they were accusing them of trying to get their offensive linemen to jump off sides by simulating the quarterback's snap count.
