So I've ordered my new passport as I'm planning on going to WrestleMania next year and it should be here shortly. I'm just wondering between getting my passport, booking my package, flights and actually going to the states, is there anything else I'll need to do? I've heard something about getting an ESTA(sounds like a type of STD), how do I go about that? When do I actually do it? Do I just do it as soon as I get my passport or what?
Is there anything else I should know? The last thing I want is to get refused to travel, I want to make sure I have everything covered and am good to go without having to worry about anything. Thanks!

WrestleMania is on my list, I must say I'm jealous. Im going next year too, not WM but i have looked into the ESTA too, I just googled it one of the results was the official page, only briefly read it so no help to you lol its just an electronic version of the old visa system so i understand
A friend told me clearing customs is a nightmare sometimes, but for us Brits it should ease up soon hopefully.

Notify your credit card company/companies that you will be travelling, and to expect a number of purchases to your card.

Google ESTA & click the DHS link. It answers all of your questions. Also has a list of waived countries that do/don’t need to apply for ESTA based on your citizenship & form of travel.
