I hope the Yankees made Johnny Damon's black ass sit in the back of the bus on the way back to the hotel last night.
Dear God, please have him be traded in the next 48 hours.

I dont think the Yankees will deal him or anyone, but I kinda wish they would, think it would be a big story and interesting to see who they could get back

When Jose Canseco wrote "Juiced" in 2005, he brought the issue of steroids in Major League Baseball to the forefront. Now, Canseco has another book due this fall and he promises some juicy info on Alex Rodriguez.
Canseco told WEEI-Radio in Boston on Friday that he has "other stuff" on the Yankees slugger, who he called a "hypocrite" who "was not all he appeared to be."
When asked if A-Rod had used steroids, Canseco told WEEI, "Wait and see."
"Jose has information about A-Rod and the Yankees that will be in the book. But, I am not sure if Jose is willing to disclose it at this point," Canseco's lawyer, Robert O. Saunooke, told The New York Times.
In Baltimore for the Yankees' game against the Orioles on Saturday night, Rodriguez told reporters that he hadn't heard Canseco's comments about him. "And I have no comment," he told the newspaper.
Canseco has shared names of more players who used steroids with investigators looking into the issue for Major League Baseball. George Mitchell, the former Senate majority leader, was appointed by commissioner Bud Selig in 2006 to head the league's investigation into steroids in the sport.
Saunooke told The Times that Canseco planned to meet again with Mitchell and and his investigators in the next month.
Canseco attracted the attention of Congress with his autobiography, "Juiced," in which the former slugger named several players, including himself, Rafael Palmeiro and Mark McGwire, who he said had used steroids.

I would trade Johnny Damon and either Proctor or Farnsworth to Atlanta for Andruw Jones and Peter Moylan.
I would put Andruw in Center, and move Melky to Right because he has a cannon, and then try and deal Abreu....maybe for some starting pitcher or relief pitching.
Just as long as the Yankees don't do something stupid like what everyone was saying with the Ty Wigginton deal....why would we trade a guy who throws 98 mph for a back up back up back up utility reserve infielder. Proctor sucks, but even I wouldn't trade him for Ty Wigginton.

Joba the hutt is coming soon... AAA Scranton-Wilkes Barre moved him to the pen after a dominant start. Pack your ing bags farnsworth... Maybe I'm in the minority here... probably.. but why move him to the pen? Why do they take arguably their #1 prospect (with Hughes and Clippard graduating so to speak), one of the top-10 starting pitching prospects in the minors period, and convert him into a reliever midseason... when you're 9 games out behind a scorching Boston team, just lost 3 straight, and pretty much have been up and down all year long? I just don't see the good that can come in this... I'm a firm believer in not rushing prospects most of the time, let alone moving them to the bullpen when they're extended and only 21 years old, especially when the team doing this is nearly 10 games out of the race when it's almost August 1st, and just lost 3 straight. He has the potential to be a filthy starter in time... why rush him?

A lot of teams do this, the Red Sox are even talking about doing it with Buchholz and have done it with Papelbon. Just to give him innings, a taste of the majors and a strong fireballer out of the pen.
Usually teams wait til September but whatever

Well imo, Terry should've stuck with Matsuzaka in the 7th, i mean after he gave up that single he still had only what 106 pitches or something? he could've easily finished the 7th.

I just don't see why doing it when you're 9 games out of the race, and throwing him right into a set-up role... I don't know, I just think it'll be double gussed if the kid is completely bombed and the Yankees don't do jack **** from here on out.
