Da Meat Tree is a good story, but giving him an extension in the NL is just a bad idea, good move for Da Meat Tree, but bad for the Nationals....what else is new though.

haha those white sox announcers are rediculous. all they were doing all day was complaining about the size of the strike zone, playing replays of pitches saying they should have been strikes. complaining about check swing calls. i lol'd all afternoon at them

i love dimitri young as much as the next guy for gimmicky reasons, but lets be honest... he  ing sucks, and he'll revert to being a mediocre bench player who can't play a lick of d sooner than later. any time dimitri young is making 5 million per year, IN THE NATIONAL LEAGUE to boot, it's a bad bad day for baseball. it's a nice story i guess, but i don't think anyone even realizes he's alive in washington or cares anymore |

I found this pretty funny when I read this today. Basically, if A-Rod hits a homerun in the delayed game against Baltimore this Friday night, all of his homeruns this season would be bumped up by one, and yesterday's homerun would officially become number 500 in the record books.
Of course, it's all a moot point if he just hits one out today anyway.

FINALLY! Barry Larkin is a 2008 Reds HOF nominee...  Larkin needs to come back and work for the Reds. him being with the nationals is just ing wrong. I just know krivsky will trade EE and make jeff keppinger the everyday 3B, because krivsky's intellectually- disabled. well I think je just wanted to try something new before he retires..... |
