You can "yawn" all you want, but a team that's going nowhere fast will ask Young to waive a no-trade clause and I'm sure he wont object if it means he'll get a chance to win. They need to re-build and stock pile young arms.
Jo Jo, Hurley and Diamond are a good start. And if Main continues to pitch and Beavan pans out, who knows. No reason to keep a 31 year old SS, when they aren't going to win the division anytime soon. Watch Young's name pop up a lot over the winter meetings.
They would also have 4 SS in the minors if they got Andrus. Arias, Lemon, Andrus and Duran. Arias could take over now with Andrus being the obvious front runner for the future.

Well, Ralpho and I don't really get along but even I admit the chances of Michael Young being traded are slim.
At least at this deadline anyway.

Gallardo will be fine, but losing Ben Sheets whether you have a adequate fill-in or not is a blow to your team period. No two ways around it.

I refuse to believe DaFilthy is older than 6 because he really does not understand that the loss column MEANS NOTHING, until the teams have played the same amount of games.

I still do nto understand the McCarthy for Danks deal. That deal shocked me the day it happend and still does. IMO Danks will become better then McCarthy.
I still dont see Young being traded. He wouldnt have signed/they wouldnt have signed him if they were going to trade him a half a year later.

FINALLY! Barry Larkin is a 2008 Reds HOF nominee... Larkin needs to come back and work for the Reds. him being with the nationals is just ing wrong. I just know krivsky will trade EE and make jeff keppinger the everyday 3B, because krivsky's intellectually- disabled.

Ouch, Igawa vs De La Rosa tonight....I smell double digits for someones team, if not both. De La Rosa gave up arods 400th HR, would be only fair to give up #500 too.
