Long hair figures tend to have their hair glued into the figure, but does anyone know of a good way to swap a short hair head sculpt? I know the hair is molded onto the head in those instances. Just curious if anyone has attempted.
I have a long hair figure that I'd like to remove the hair from and attempt to put a short hair on, but I'm not sure how to even attempt to go about it without cutting up the short hair figure and essential scalping it.
Any thoughts, hints, experiences?
Thanks guys!

If you don't want to damage the short hair head then make a simple 1 piece mold of it, just the top half is fine. Then brush layers of liquid latex into the hair mold until it's the thickness you want. Trim it as needed, glue it to the other head, paint, etc.
