Just a random thought I had while watching the episode of WEC WrekCage I DVRed the other night.
It's obvious that the UFC and Zuffa are doing a little cross promotion with UFC's sister promotion World Extreme Cagefighting as WEC ads and news articles have appeared on the UFC website.
What a better way to promote WEC than to have a major title fight as the co-main event of a UFC card?
The most likely candidate would be featherweight champ "The California Kid" Urijah Faber, as he is fresh off the main event of WEC's first live TV card. I think him vs. a top contender would make a nice co-main event on a card with another UFC title defense on it like a Heavyweight title fight.
It's not too far fetched considering that the promotions are owned by the same people.
Anyone else think this would be a neat idea?

I think they want to keep WEC on its own.
