Posada popped up with 2 outs in the 9th and runners on base and as McDonald was about to catch the popup, A-Rod apparently called him off as he was rounding the bases. My question is this: it's not like it was a difficult popup or anything. McDonald had a clean view of it the entire time. Why would he have let anyone call him off, even if he did think it was one of his own teammates calling for it? it was howie clark that was going for it, mcdonald was behind him. |

I think thats actually kinda funny, Lugo does that stuff, OCab has done that, trying to throw the middle infielders off.

man the new 1-2-3 of rowand/victorino/rollins is superbly hilarious... ive always actually enjoyed the notion of rollins in the 3-hole, but pat burrell's schmuckiness always fudged the possibility of it being a longterm fixture.
i cant wait until pat is gone and mike bourn is playing every day.

So, A-Rod didn't even say "I got it!" or anything like that. He said he just said "Ha!" and if you look in the replay, you can clearly see it.
As far as I'm concerned, that just makes it much more embarassing for the Blue Jays, lol.

Who cares...it's not like this was a big game for either team. The Yankees are 13.5 back, the Blue Jays are 12.0 back, both teams are winning about 1 game a week, it's not like has an impact over either team's season, both the Blue Jays and Yankees have been shot for about 2 weeks now anyway.

The Yankeez suckz comment was meant to be a joke, but the two comments were just my opinion. Not trying to start anything. I'm sure a lot of players use women to " break slumps" but IMO it's just wrong..  As for the O-Cab article, I just found it pretty random. |

That's a pretty awesome slump buster. But for me a slump buster was always some fat chick, and the slump was not getting laid. There's a bar that middle aged women hang out in in Atlanta, that many people call slump busters.
