Take this with a grain of salt but PWInsider is reporting the following:
On today's No Name Show (afternoon edition) Elite Member Chris Decker sent in a question wondering whether Shawn Michaels would make a good opponent for Ric Flair at WrestleMania. After the show went live, I heard from two different people inside WWE who told me that the word making rounds is that as of right now that is indeed the tentative plan, with the word being that Vince McMahon has already cleared it.
As of right now, take this for a rumor but that is what I heard from two independent sources today. Personally, I like it. Michaels retiring Flair in a classic match would be one of those situations where both men could get a pop as they left the ring.

This has been reported already. I would prefer Kennedy beating Flair at Mania.

Honestly, I'd much rather have HBK/Taker at WM. And like, maybe Flair vs HHH?
EDIT: I think a Flair vs Shelton Benjamin match at WM would turn out good.

Seeing as it's pretty obvious John Cena is getting back his rediculous looking title at NWO, I wouldn't mind seeing Orton beating Flair at Wrestlemania. He is the legend killer after all.

I called this like two weeks into the retirement angle in the Raw thread.

Anyone who has watched wrestling for five minutes knows that Ric Flair's retirement will be at WrestleMania. I called this like two weeks into the retirement angle in the Raw thread. Loads of people have predicted it.

If anyone could drag a good match out of Flair it is HBK.

Id rather like have Flair some how win MITB and then have his title match straight after the ME, only to lose!!
