Cory Graves makes me miss Mike Adamle.
Victoria was the best women’s wrestler WWE has ever had.
The current women’s roster might be the best wrestlers(as a group) but have nothing on the 2002-2009 women’s rosters.
CM Punk didn’t main event PPVs because he wasn’t a main event draw.
Lita was trash in the ring. She only got over because of her look.
02-03 Triple H was the BEST heel ever.
The cruiserweight division will never be treated as anything more than a sideshow.

I hate CM Punk but I believe that him leaving gave him what he always wanted while he was in the WWE. Main Event Draw power. Yeah he was a big name before but now that he's gone the supply and demand of his name has skyrocketed minus his UFC loss. I also believe that if he loses his next fight he will lose his big name. If he wins he will be successful in his ventures and be viewed as legitimate but if he loses AGAIN (as easily as he did last time) he will look like a fool for ever leaving. Just my opinion.
Also this is a great thread and I'm glad it hasn't been locked (fingers crossed) even with the efforts of Wfigs favorite thread locker.

when Shinsuke Nakamura just won the royal rumble. i firmly believe that Shinsuke Nakamura just didn't felt right winning the royal rumble in his debut of the match (but that don't mean i dislike him for winning it) i mean honestly, ignoring his work in NXT, NJPW, and IWGP (cause the most casual of WWE fans don't know about that at all) LOL!!! |

Alexa already has the longest Raw Women's Title record and the most combined days as champion. Alexa Bliss’ title reign has held back the raw women’s division. I can’t wait for Reigns to be champion. That's what I meant by it. I'm not blaming Alexa. I blame the fact that every woman comes out of feuds with Alexa in worse shape than they went in. From Becky to Sasha to Bayley. Alexa can't break Nikki's record. Nikki's was for the Divas Title. Alexa already has the longest Raw Women's Title record and the most combined days as champion. Agreed on both. Eh close enough, they're both female titles. True, but then the female title record is Moolah's 28 years or whatever. Trish is at 400+ days, too. I don't mind long reigns and I like Alexa, but if she retains, there's not really anything left for her to do as champion. She's literally feuded with every babyface. Plus, if Nia loses another title shot, then what's even the point of keeping her around? |

*Cena and especially Triple H have hurt the business way more than they've helped it.
*Thigh-slap kicks are annoying and take me out of the matches with everyone doing it.
*Bring back squash matches to rebuild the mystique of being a WWE Superstar.
*50/50 booking has really hurt almost everyone and constant rematches often make watching shows seem like a chore rather than entertainment.
*The Miz should be the face of the company and would be a perfect "corporate champion" ala The Rock and Seth Rollins.
*Zack Ryder should be a consistent upper midcarder but is still resented for getting over all by himself.
*Mick Foley is the quintessential Attitude Era wrestler and defines the era for me.
*The Rock's 2003 run as a heel was the best work of his career and is arguably the best <6-month run anyone ever had.
*Bring back pre-taped "earlier today we caught up with ____ and he had this to say" instead of the obviously fake spontaneous backstage segments that don't make sense.
*WWECW was the best show of the aughts.
*Character/ability to connect with a crowd will always be more important than workrate.
*Roman Reigns would be an outstanding heel but is possibly the worst #1 guy the company has ever had.
*Michael Cole actively hurts every single segment he's a part of and has done a lot to ruin the "special" quality that Gorilla Monsoon, Vince and JR brought to the show.

After getting back into wrestling the last month or so, I have to completely agree with this. Cole has just become boring with no real enthusiasm. He brings down the quality of the commentary. Coach and Corey by themselves would be perfect for Raw. I have always thought 3 people for commentary per show was too much, too many cooks in the kitchen, to begin with. |
