I've seen these threads before and their typically pretty fun, figured I'd start up another one. Here's mine: - The Ruthless Aggression Era > The Attitude Era
- The Attitude Era is severely overrated as people are remembering it with the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia.
- The Hardy Boy's have been terrible in the ring since their return from TNA, fans are just riding the hype train of them being back.
- Sheamus in late-2009 was vastly underrated.
- Vladimir Kozlov in 2008 (Before getting drafted to ECW) was easily a top 10 in the company and should have been ranked much higher than 149 on PWI's list that year.
- The Invasion story line was phenomenal.
- Finlay and Shelton Benjamin were too vastly underused performers.
- Rob Van Dam should easily be considered one of the greatest pro-wrestlers ever.
- Bret Hart was never any good in the ring he just was in the right place at the right time. (Could fill that gap between Hulk Hogan and The Rock)
- John Cena is excellent on the mic.
- CM Punk had an incredible career in WWE from the beginning up until his Money in the Bank 2011 match then was wrongly used afterwards.
- Vince McMahon is way smarter than many people give him credit for.
- Daniel Bryan is way overrated, and shouldn't really return to the WWE.

I can’t see this thread lasting long with how prone to arguing this board is but I agree with this one: Daniel Bryan is way overrated, and shouldn't really return to the WWE.

I think part of the reason he is overrated is because he left due to injury. Similar to people only seeming to care about musicians after they've passed away.

Gran Metalik is the best luchador to ever work for WWE.
Noam Dar is #9 in my top 15 favourite wrestlers ever, I'll only say that much.
Ken Shamrock shoulda won the WWF Title from Austin at Breakdown 98, so he was the Master Plan.
D'Lo Brown should've won The WWF Title.
Jeff Jarrett was an amazing TNA Heavyweight Champion.
Baron Corbin sucks.
Face Bobby Roode is pretty good. He was gonna get cheered anyway.
Matt Morgan shoulda at least been US Champ.
Nikki Bella is a good wrestler.
Roman Reigns is a Great Wrestler, and when his promo is unscripted he's fantastic.
Dakota Kai is the best Women's Wrestler in WWE.

-Nikki Bella had more star power and knew how to work an entertaining match better than any or the current women in the women's division - The Attitude Era has aged very bad - Finn Balor isn't very good and borderline boring - Booker T was so much better than the Coach has been since his return (I liked Coach back in the day). - The LOD were a good team, but never really had any great tag matches. - Bret's best WWF feud was his long going feud with Jerry Lawler. - Goldberg > Ultimate Warrior - Stephanie should have won the WWF Championship the night after WrestleMania X8 in that triple threat match. Those are some random opinions I have as a wrestling fan

This wouldn't have been too unpopular maybe 6 months ago... but I can't stand Rusev. I know *some* people liked him before bullsh*t Rusev Day, but ever since I saw him at the end of his NXT run and into the start of his main roster run I've found him just kinda boring. So I'm not going to change my stance on him just because he made up something that he refers to every day as. Once a PFJ, always a PFJ(pure effing jobber).

oh baby
- The Attitude Era sucked - ECW sucked - Bret/Shawn Ironman is terrible - WrestleMania 17 is overrated and has been topped several times within the last few years alone - AJ Lee is the most important figure ever in women's wrestling - The Miz is a top 5 performer in WWE history - John Cena is the greatest of all-time - Jinder Mahal had one of the best title reigns of the last decade

I can really appreciate the ones highlighted above. Here are some of my own: - Getting excited for Rusev Day is like getting excited for Tye Dillinger's "Ten" gimmick — eventually people will realize how stupid it is.
- John Cena is as good of a wrestler as Zack Ryder...Basic. Cena's just been given better opponents, better storylines, longer matches, etc.
- Undertaker is a good wrestler, but pretty damn overrated. People act like he was producing incredible matches his whole career.
- Dolph Ziggler was a better wrestler 6 years ago.
- Nikki Bella was a good wrestler in her last year... and I want to see her back!
- Randy Orton should be treated like a part-timer (Lesnar, HHH, Taker, etc.)

These are always fun.... in before the lock!!
Any who...
I really have nothing to say on here. Because this is clearly opinions based on what people feel or like/dislike.
If I say, "Shinsuke Nakamura is over rated" it's probably because I don't care for him and am not a fan.
If I say, "Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the top 3 wrestlers in the world today" it's probably because I am a huge fan of his.
So I give this thread..... three days at the most. Then Spider-Man will be heading on in and shutting it down!

Nakamura is boring.
Balor is boring.
Undertaker should have retired after the streak was broken.
Kurt angle should never have wrestled again in wwe.
Ronda rousey doesn't fit in in the wwe.

New Japan sucks, bland and predictable as any episode of Raw or SDL.
Nakamura is overrated and I have yet to see this “charisma” everyone says he has.
NXT has sucked since Sami Zayn left.
Bray Wyatt is the most boring wrestler to ever win the WWE Championship. I’ve disliked him since day one and never saw anything interesting about him.
Big Evil was the best Undertaker.
Jinder Mahal was great as WWE Champion. His character is entertaining and he’s believable. As far as the roids thing goes, anyone who knows anything about bodybuilding and PEDs will tell you the large majority of that roster is juiced up on something, regardless of what WWE or the wrestlers tell you about the policy.
Asuka is boring in the ring and is the absolute definition of cringeworthy on the mic. One of the most overrated performers of the 21st century.

I don't know if these are unpopular, but they aren't common:
1) RKO is a stupid NAME for a finisher. However, I can't think of anything that isn't corny.
2) Comparisons between the RKO and Diamond Cutter are stupid. RKO is a jumping ace crusher. Diamond Cutter is a standing Ace Crusher. Two different moves. Not in the "That's like saying you a doorman is the same as a Bouncer" candy commercial way. But in theEnd of Days differs from a Flatliner or Sister Abigail move.
3) Stacy Keibler's moveset should have included a Diamond Cutter as a finisher. Call it hte Keibler Cookie Cutter and be done. More importantly, why during the Alliance when Debra was making horrible cookies, did WWE writers not think to have Keibler make cookies?
4) Natalya is related to Bret true, but her father is Jim Neidhart. She should stop the best there is line.
5) Speaking of that though, why is it that women wrestlers of famous legends can get over by relying on their lineage but men wrestlers can't? Randy Orton didn't get over by portraying his father's character. Same goes with Ted Dibiase Jr., David Flair, Sim Snuka, Scott Putski, and others. Yet, they create a new character, and they get over. Meanwhile, Charlotte portrays her father minus the womanizing and she's over. Same goes for Natalya.
6) People only think NJPW is amazing because it's cool to like things that are technically underground. If NJPW was televised in the States, it'd be heavily criticized.
7) I don't get the appeal of Kenny Omega.
8) I don't get the appeal of Austin Aries and yet I'm a fan of his.
9) WWE needs to replace the image it uses of Bobby Roode to promote a match. It's a weird toothy smile.
10) Even if Jinder had gone through the mid card before ascending to the WWE title, he still would have been hated.

I'm sure I'm repeating myself here, and I don't know if these are unpopular or not, but it's how I feel...
Today's product is better than people give it credit for. Sure it's not perfect, but it never has been IMO.
I'm not a fan of Broken/Woken gimmick or the deletion matches. I will say at least they're original.
Christian > Edge
My least favorite thing about wrestling, is it's fans. Constantly looking for excuses to bitch ruins the fun sometimes.
Surfer Sting was vastly superior to Crow Sting
Speaking of Sting, he should have joined WWE years earlier. By the time he got there, the ship had sailed.
Alexa Bliss is overrated. She's good, but not championship material IMO... not yet.
Sheamus doesn't get enough credit for how good he is.
Daniel Bryan losing to Sheamus in 30 seconds was fun.
Becky Lynch is the most underutilized talent currently in WWE.
Scott Steiner became a joke. He had so much potential but ruined it all from getting too big.
I don't like anyone to lose their job, but how on god's green earth is Tamina still employed?
The WM12 Iron Man Match was boring. The Rock/Triple H Iron Man was vastly superior.
ECW was overrated.
Heel Biker was the best version of Undertaker.
I don't understand how you can bury someone if you cheated to defeat them.
I kinda want to see Brock leave. I'm curious to see what WWE will do to fill that void.
I'm nervous to watching Bryan take a bump. Hope he knows what he's doing.
Speaking of which, I hate anyone who thinks WWE falsified Bryan's medical records to benefit Roman.
Enzo was entertaining. But at the same time, I don't miss him.
Cass isn't very good. Just tall.
Tye Dillinger has reached his ceiling. Not sure what anyone expected.
I like Jericho, but he's kinda sloppy in the ring at times.
Kane is the most mistreated WWE performer of all time.
The CW division was a good idea.

AJ Styles is bad on the mic. Triple H is one of the best of all time. Kane is boring. Big Show is entertaining. The Miz is still awful. Seth Rollins isn't over. Randy Orton should be treated as a bigger star than he is. NXT wasn't as good as internet fans made out. Brock Lesnar has carried WWE since 2012.
