It annoyed me as well, and TBH I hated myself a bit for buying the second one, but I also knew if I didn't I'd kick myself because I love Macho. I'm done for the day though. If there's another surprise drop later on, I'm skipping it. |

If there's another surprise drop later on, I'm skipping it. Judging by posts Ryan and Cardona are making, it sounds like this is going to go on all day. So is somebody buys all, you're probably looking at $40 in shipping when they could have been listed together in one order. If that's how it plays out, I don't think it's hyperbolic to say that it's one of the least customer friendly decisions I can think of from any toy line. |

He doesn't seem to have the temperament to deal with hardcore toy collectors. People don't obsess over t-shirts the way some toy collectors do and it's seems to me as an outsider looking in, he's completely inconvenienced by it. These were just originally a little fun thing to put in a monthly box and they've taken on a life of their own. So in that regard, he didn't really sign up for what happened, but at the same time, you've created something that's become really popular, so maybe don't openly show disdain for your customers with little barbs on twitter. |

Thankful that Macho Man is outside of what I collect for Micro Brawlers because I feel like there are more coming after the Mega Powers version too. I can resist a black and white Macho Madness version if that happens, but if there's a full blown red and yellow Slim Jim Macho with the cowboy hat and jacket, I don't think I'll be able to say no...

The dude lucked into a good idea and is making a killing, both from the shirts and the brawlers. I think your take is spot on. From watching the PWT "documentary," it seems like he loves micro managing everything and stirring the pot. |

So now there's a black trunks version posted. Prices have increased from 17.99 to 18.99 to now 21.99. I assume they're just going to keep raising the price with each variation.

1. This one looks terrible IMO.
2. This release strategy is insulting. The least PWTees could do is bundle multiple orders together and refund some shipping, but they surely won't.
3. The prices increasing with ever Brawler makes no sense if they're all made to order.
4. I wonder how many more we'll get today?

I legit posted to PWT when mega powers version went up that they should offer combined shipping if they release a black and white one 2 hrs later. Sure enough they do and no combined shipping.
This is nearly as bad as when PWT posted to send donations to pay for their employees wages during Corona. Are they not millionaires by now being the lone shirt company for a major promotion??

Looks like I’m joining the party and the crapping on the combined shipping. I get they want these to be super exclusive and all that, but a separate shipping charge for each is a huge F U to us as collectors.

PWT is becoming such a racket with these things. They finally find a healthy middle ground with the open pre-order concept, and even still, manage to find ways to make themselves look like complete asses in the process.

Why is the version that’s totally made up the most expensive? Haha.
I sat these all out. I have Macho King already, which is way cooler than all of these imo. Neon Cowboy might have got me, but $30 a brawler or whatever for these is bananas. Owen obviously gets to be an exception because of the limitedness of his merchandise, but I can buy Macho everything already.
This goes back to Brawlers being fun in crates or for under $15 on eBay. This has turned into a total nightmare, sadly.

When Ryan was on majorpod twitch he basically mocked all of us bc of how cheap it is the manufacture the brawlers. We are in the middle of a marketing blitz (choreographed by cardona?)to see what works and how far we are willing to go at little cost to pwt. Good?Bad?Just business? The choice is yours.

There's definitely a mentality among the hardcore fanbase that "they're rare collectibles!" so people should pay through the nose. The things probably cost at most $3-4 to produce, and cheaper in quantity. I'd all but guarantee that when PWT was clearing them out at $4 they were still above their breakeven point. I think there's a lot of overlap between the MFW crowd and the Brawler group. |
