Yea they sure did ruin these and I honestly have no idea why? They literally placed a ticking time bomb on the interest of these. I don’t get it. $$$. It's a straight up money grab, but it's obviously working.
How much were they before the recent craze? Still seems like they'd be expensive just cause of shipping.
Like you said stc13 and we've discussed before -- they're just creating a bubble. I kind of feel bad for collectors who don't realize it, and are doing it just to be popular with the Major Pod crowd -- but they should als know better. |

I kind of feel bad for collectors who don't realize it, and are doing it just to be popular with the Major Pod crowd -- but they should als know better. The PWT Brawlers were 12.99. There were a couple of exceptions, like the gold Okada, which was $15. But the $20+ price tag is definitely more than covering their added costs. I've only been collecting them since the summer. But they were cool, cheap novelty figures when I started. For those that are still enjoying collecting, great. But it's become a lot less fun for me lately. |

Agree the blue is nicer. With the price the chase is already up to as well looks like I won't be getting one of those.
Did PWT ever note production numbers on the chases?

Back in October, talking about the Kurt Angle Micro Brawler, Ryan Barkan said this in the Micro Brawlers Facebook group: "We gave Kurt the choice, do you want to do a crate brawler which goes out to 5,000 people or a limited run of 150 for less $ and he chose the limited run." Based on that and his other comment, the chase variants are 250 out of (approximately) 5,000. |

Finally got my crate today, and I'm absolutely loving the Brawler! I'm really glad they made blue the common version - I wish that's a figure Mattel would have made.

Would be an easy release, he could be in one of the next legends line as the repainted figure. I liked the head scan and the part choices. That would save the deco costs for the other three figures. |

I have most of the same ones, though I am still missing that Ricky Steamboat, that one looks amazing. To bad he rarely comes available on eBay, and when he does, the prices are ridiculous. |
