After seeing the Major pod 4 pack go for $100 I’m pretty sure I’m done with the brawlers.

There has Def been a change, the shirts they used to put in there were always great designs and at some point possibly because of AEW the shirts now are always weak designs. Like that Orange shirt was awful, the Darby shirt was fine but plain, and I’m sure the Jericho shirt next month won’t be anything to write about. I still get it cause most months I keep what I want and make my money back selling the rest. But the last few months the items haven’t been selling. Honestly, the shirts have been the only things keeping me subscribed to the crates the last few months (I actually loved the OC shirt). The comics/pins/stickers are hit or miss for me, and even the good ones aren't worth staying subscribed for. The Brawlers are still generally pretty good, but it's hit or miss for me sometimes if they're people I would actually want in my collection. Yeah, I've really enjoyed the LOD, OC, and Piper shirts. Darby was a bit plain for my liking, but I also like the fact that it's a little more subtle. I haven't been a fan of the last two autos, and the Brawlers have been cool but not guys I care about. But still for like $35 shipped, I feel like I get good value. I look at the pins, comics, etc as throw-ins. They're certainly not anything I would seek out otherwise. |

They're taking a page from the MWFP playbook and hyping the rarity, even though the production numbers are just slightly lower than the previous PWT store Brawlers. Clearly these things are selling out like crazy, so it's working. But it also breeds a pretty toxic fandom, imo. |

Yikes I’m out, I can’t justify that, with shipping over $15 probably was more than I should have spent. Yeah, I'll probably just stick with the ones from the crate at this point. I will admit I did order the MWFP box set as I want all four guys to sign it, but other than that it's too steep for me. I would probably go $25 for another Punk (especially in basketball shorts) but it seems like his relationship with PWTees took a turn at some point, so I don't see it happening. |

I think I'll be unloading my collection now. I initially started collecting to have figures of The Elite that weren't made by FTC and then started getting more indie guys. But if these are going to be sought after and artificially inflated, might as well get out now while the getting is good.

Well, the Kurt Angle Brawler sold out in about 4 minutes, and came out to $30 shipped. I grabbed one, since I'm a big fan and he's a hometown guy. But I don't know that I can see continuing to spend the same price as an Ultimate Edition figure for these things going forward.

Ridiculous...If these things are selling out in under 5 minutes, I will never be able to buy one again without paying quadruple the price on eBay. Was it their goal to just give scalpers an opportunity to rip people off?

It doesn't appeal to me at all, but some people totally eat up the idea that their toys are rare and "valuable." |

Yeah, I can't see secondary market being a realistic option anymore. Cost on these is $30 shipped, so to resell with shipping to the second buyer and fees you're talking about to need to sell for close to $40 just to break even. I'm sure some people will drop good money on these, but no way I could justify that. |

Where are these new ones being sold? Mostly on the PWT website. I think Meyers and Cardona also had autographed variants that they sold directly on their own websites. |

The whole collecting model of these is not fun to me at all. I am not into things that create scarcity as part of their business plan. Trying to collect all of these doe not look like a fun time at all to me.

Just checked eBay the other night, they had 3 or 4 Kurt Angle micro brawlers, all were over $160. If this is the way these figures are going, I guess I am out. Shame too, I didn't like these figures at first but they grew on me. I would like to continue collecting these but not at those prices.
