Got my Micro Brawlers in the other day. Order Terry Funk and Arn Anderson individually along with a 10 pack grab bag. From said grab bag I'm keeping Bret Hart, Raven, Eddie Guerrero, Kamala, and Demolition Smash. Picked up a Demolition Ax and Vader on eBay as well.
Also in the grab bag were Bruiser Brody, Hacksaw Jim Duggan (only not keeping him because I have the Funko Mystery Mini), Jeff Cobb, El Generico, and Brutus Beefcake that I'll hopefully going to trade or sell in order to pick up a couple others.
Decided to only go after legends that I really love, so gonna hopefully be able to add Road Warriors/Legion Of Doom (whichever version I can get cheaper), CM Punk, Macho King, Brooklyn Brawler, British Bulldog, Honky Tonk Man, and Ricky Steamboat. Maybe Ultimate Warrior if cheap enough.

Looks like Honky Tonk Man is the next legend to be released. Seeing a lot of these popping up on eBay. Anyone have a list of which figures are coming out each month for the rest of the year? Or do they not give out that information?

Or do they not give out that information? They're only doing the crate brawlers and limited run releases on the website moving forward. There's a MFW 4-pack coming online in the fall, and there's another Chris Hero brawler in the works confirmed by Ryan from PWT. He's likely to be in the next crate, since Hero is included in that lineup. But beyond that the rest of the year is a mystery. |

Got my gab bag today...Got 3 that I was looking for (Eddie, Bret, and Raven). I also might keep this Kamala, because he looks pretty cool. Still need JR.
Once I sell these other ones, it will have been much cheaper than what I would have spent buying Eddie, Bret, and Raven individually on eBay, so a very good deal.

I've been stupid lucky with the prices I've managed to get these at. I don't have many, but the ones I got have been relative steals: I got the first Cody Rhodes (in the suit) for $0.62 on eBay in an auction that apparently just went unnoticed. I got CM Punk at a flea market when I was buying a couple of LJNs for $5 each and convinced the seller to throw in Punk for an extra $2.00 I got PCO for something like $5 on ROH's 4th of July sale. It's probably why I don't have more...I've been so spoiled by the prices I've gotten them at, I can't bring myself to pay what they actually net. I've been wanting to get Callihan, Marty, and ZSJ for a while now, but haven't pulled the trigger so far. These things are expensive for what is three inches of rubber - especially on the UK site I'd have to buy them from. They cost more than a basic, and with postage, not much less than an elite. |

Yeah I know, but shipping to Canada plus conversion rates always makes everything more expensive than it should be unfortunately, but I'll keep an eye out. |

I was just listening to the Major Bros podcast and that twerp Ryder said he knows why they suddenly sold out but wouldn't divulge why, is there some deep dark secret or something? I don't buy them, I almost bought the ingobernales years ago, but am just interested bc of the podcast.

I assumed the reason was that they put them on sale to try to clear their inventory, since they planned to not be releasing any outside the crates any longer (with the exception of the odd one here or there). |

Yea I was pretty sure they were cutting back on micro brawlers simply because of the amount of talent not available to them anymore due to action figure contracts. Managed to wrangle a Road Warriors set on eBay for a decent price. Would honestly have prefered the Legion Of Doom red version, but just to impossible to find or afford if I did, so is all good.
I'm giving up on Taz, Brooklyn Brawler, British Bulldog, and Ricky Steamboat. They're just too expensive for my budget when they do show up for sale.
So, down to just needing CM Punk to get all the ones I really wanted most (anyone happen to have an extra?). Macho King would be nice, but I do have the Macho Man Funko Mystery Mini, so I'm okay without the Micro Brawler unless I run into a great deal sometime.

Now I'm sure there's a couple of guys there that couldn't be done for contractual reasons, but with them having done guys like Duggan and Honky Tonk Man, I don't think a WWE legends deal stops them from being able to do a micro brawler.
I'd also like to see them redo rare guys like Steamboat and Bulldog, but with different attires (perhaps a WMIII Steamboat and a Davey Boy/Dynamite 2-pack). Also, it'd be great if they could strike a deal with Martha to do an Owen Hart.

They are gonna be releasing five micro brawlers towards the end of the year. Plus new packaging, the five will be Cardona and Myers in wrestling gear and three that PWT said have never had a micro Brawler before.

As for Allen, I don't know when the whole AEW figure deal came about so did they make a brawler for Allen before the whole figure deal or not. Then Hurricane was with WWE, I know he was part of the covid release but since there is a mask in the crate, it is just so easy to make a Hurricane mask over anyone elses. And as for Boogeyman he was the only other choice for the brawler logically. |
