I think they probably think the pre order model killed the buzz about the line? But I think going back to this after what I thought was a successful pre order model will kill the line even more. |

Yeah,like others have said if this is how things are gonna be done going forward. I probably bought my last brawlers.
Did get my Hanger brawler yesterday,looked pretty good from the 5 seconds I had him in my hand

My cases are already full and I don't know how I'd find room for another one anyway... What cases are these, they look great. They're actually LEGO Mini Figure display cases I found on etsy. They came with a stud board on back and I added the 'shelves' myself. These particular one have a hinged front, so it's super easy to load and rearrange if needed. I love them. Only drawbakc is the figures on the bottom shelf do fit a little tight, but not so much that theyre squiahed. Wanna say I paid about $25 each, but that was quite some time ago, so don't know how much they'd go for these days. |

The Micro Brawler situation is an interesting one - and ultimately doesn't give a whole lot of confidence to those of us (like myself) who have invested pretty heavily into this line. Some of the recent Brawlers I've thought have been relatively weak over the last few months (RJ City, Meme Kurt Angle, David Arquette, 10x versions of DanHausen, a relatively bland Dusty Rhodes and a Swerve Strickland that really lacked colour and pop in tights/pants design) which makes me think the talent list isn't as strong or readily available as it once was when this line kicked off (given the amount of other companies signing talent), or they've over extended themselves to deliver.
I also think Ryan is a bit of a strange cat; I mentioned a while ago in the Micro Brawlers VIP Facebook page that given all the hype and signings by PowerTown and the excitement surrounding their Ultras and Remco list, that characters like The Missing Link, Stan Hansen, Kerry Von Erich, Magnum (who's everywhere right now) would be great additions to our collections. Ryan essentially waved off the suggestion stating that he was more interested in 80s and 90s names which would vastly outsell these suggestions, but I tend to think "why limit yourself at all"? The attraction of Brawlers is their unique ability to capture colour and character into such a small mould and names like Missing Link in the same mould as the formerly released Brody mould for example would be great! Seems ironic that it appears as though their latest Tag Team Crate offers an "All Star" tag team Brawler combo which potentially could be the Rock n Roll Express.....
Just some other names which I think could look incredible in Brawler form; "Don't Piss Me Off" 90's Jeff Jarrett, "Marvellous" Marc Mero, Johnny B. Badd, Tye Dye Little Spike Dudley, 2 Cold Scorpio, Paul Roma & Hercules in Power & Glory form, Hakushi, Viscera, Little Guido & Big Sal, Great Kabuki, Dr Wagner Jnr, Vampiro, Juventud Guerrera, Abadon, Billy Kidman, Giant Haystacks, Tajiri, Steve Corino, Lance Storm, Justin Credible, Mastato Tanaka, Great Muta, Buff Bagwell, Scott Norton, Take Michinoku etc - the list goes on and on.
I think it will be really important that if Brawler releases are becoming much more sporadic, the names need to be really solid and a real emphasis placed on the colour and personality of the moulds to offset the time taken to purchase and receive them.

The set in this months Crate is one of the best things in this line in a long, long, long time. Grand slam. And the fact that no one is talking about them is a testament to how far the line has fallen right now.

And it's hard to see a lot of legs to the line when they're just doing a lot of re-releases. There are a lot of AEW names that would be absolute buys for me, but they aren't making them. I think this is the first time in more years than I can remember where I don't have a single Brawler on pre-order since Hangman came in. |

Still really want Jerry Lynn. We got all those ECW guys fired off, Franchise, RVD, Francine, Sandman, etc. and then they just stopped. I'm hoping this recent Meanie means we're going to get a few more. I also wouldn't mind a black and red Rhino to swap out the blue and black.
