Hey guys, I've never done this before but I've seen custom projects on other collecting forums and it's worked out for the best. I'm suggesting we as a community look into hiring a digital sculptor so we can get portraits of Wrestlers done. Let's face it, there is probably certain wrestlers that will never see the light of day on store shelves (you all have your favorites and so do I). I'd love put together a set of Young Bucks and not have to use Drew McIntyre heads, a Kenny Omega without the use of a Daniel Bryan Sclupt with DDP's hair, Owen Hart, Muta, Possibilities are endless.... What do you guys think? Can we collectively get something started? I haven't really looked into pricing or how to get bulk orders printed via shapeways... but if there is enough interest. I could look into it. I haven't really looked into pricing or how to get bulk orders printed via shapeways... but if there is enough interest. I could look into it. (Example of Digital Sculpting)

Shapeways has an active forum of designers, hiring one may not even be necessary. If a designer who is already doing heads took up a wrestler project, you'd be able to buy from their designer store individually. Some of the shapeways folks seem to enjoy a challenge, this might draw some interest there. I could inquire on their forum if you like?

kuudos... I'm actually surprised at how little reception we get here.... I guess people really like cosplaying their customs with pre existing heads... -_-

Any update on this? From when I was asking around a while ago, people were charging 100 to 300 bucks per head sculpt. I understand it's fair since it takes time nail a likeness, but that prices us out unless 300 people pitch in a dollar or whatever.
