Dave Meltzer reported on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Bobby Lashley, who finished up with Impact Wrestling earlier this month, is heading back to WWE after not reaching a deal with NJPW.
There has been talk of Lashley possibly working with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania 34.
Wow! This would be great for me because I've wanted to see them as a dream feud back in the day when Lesnar was still loving the business and doing shooting star presses and all that neck breaking nonsense lol. These are two complete freaks of nature buuut I feel like WWE would ruin it and make it an MMA type fight when they're both ridiculously jacked and can both mat wrestle very well.
What would you like to see? How would you kick this off? Make Lashley cost Lesnar the strap?

Never got into Lashley, he has no character. And no eyebrows can't decide which attribute bothers me more.

I think it could be an interesting big man match up, with the added bit of both having MMA careers, but I'd feel the same way of this, that I did with Goldberg and Lesnar last year, the title should not be involved at all.

I would find it hilarious if Roman Reigns finally conquers the Beast, only to confront yet another musclebound MMA guy and take three more years to defeat Lashley.

I don't care who Lashley feuds with, I just wanna see him back in a WWE ring (preferably with his "Hell will be calling your name" theme song).

I guess the old adage "absence makes the heart grow fonder" really does apply because I have no idea where this Lashley nostalgia is coming from all of a sudden.
He is a good athlete, but was indescribably bland during his original stint with the company. He was only there for two years and was forgotten as soon as he left. The company didn't have to scramble to replace him either. Lashley simply wasn't that big of a deal despite them pushing him pretty hard.
It's been over a decade since his last appearance. Combine that lapse with the fact that he doesn't hold anywhere near the marquee value as a guy like Lesnar, I doubt the casual fan will give a crap about him.

To be fair he has improved quite a bit in TNA but he doesn't need to be headlining anything. I'm just glad he isn't going to New Japan. He has no business being there at all.

lol would rather watch nitro episodes from 2001 then those two fight each other, atleast id see better work rate, and what do you mean back when he was loving the buisness and doing star presses, you mean the few he's done in the territory ? r the one he did one in wwe, cause didnt do any in japan when lashley was wrestling for wwe on his first run, this would be a battle of over pushed roid fiens, would be 20 minuets of headlock and wristlocks and some suplex's in the mix, would hte to see your dream card, only person i want to see lesnar work anymore is shinsuke nakamura,
