WWE Hell In A Cell: October 8th, 2017 - Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan Theme Song: "Breakin' Out of Hell" by Airbourne FULL RESULTS:
KICKOFF // Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin def. The Hype Bros in 6:02 with a Grand Amplitude on Mojo Rawley.
MATCH ONE // Rusev (w/ Aiden English) def. Randy Orton in 8:34 with a Machka Kick following an outside distraction from a singing Aiden English. A competitive match between two of Smackdown Live’s premier athletes, but just as soon as an #RKOOuttaNowhere was about to be hit, the pesky English intervened on behalf of his new friend to put down The Viper.
- An advertisement is shown promoting tomorrow night’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Will we see The Shield reunite against The Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus?
MATCH TWO // Bobby Roode def. Dolph Ziggler in 7:12 with a Glorious DDT. The Glorious One’s entrance captured the awe of the WWE Universe and gave Roode an advantage over the ever-cocky Ziggler.
- Shane McMahon was preparing for the huge Falls Count Anywhere Hell In A Cell Match that would take place later tonight but was blindsided in his office by Kevin Owens. The two brawled around the backstage area as multiple officials and staff members tried to separate the two. Using his power as Smackdown Live Commissioner, McMahon demanded the Cell be brought down right now and they begin this match backstage!
MATCH THREE // Kevin Owens def. Shane McMahon in 38:02 in a Falls Count Anywhere Hell In A Cell Match when Sami Zayn pulled Kevin Owens off the announce table as Shane McMahon jumped off the top. These two men duked it out all over the arena and eventually made it inside the Hell in a Cell, where the bloodlust was evident. Following the match, the Little Caesars Arena was in awe as Sami Zayn's loyalty was the ultimate question on everybody's mind.
- Fandango and Tyler Breeze made their return with The Fashion Files, this time titled Pulp Fashion. In a dark crevice of the arena, The Fashion Police, dressed like Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, are interrogating Viktor of The Ascension. ‘Dango and Breeze question why they have Viktor in for questioning, but they need to know something… what that something is, nobody knows, as Fandango accidentally pushes Breeze from behind who ends up punching Viktor right in the face with a flashlight… “Oh man, I shot Viktor in the face.” exclaimed Breeze as The Fashion Police soon tried to figure out a way to get rid of the evidence in the arena. Pulp Fashion continues this Tuesday.
MATCH FOUR // Smackdown Live Women’s Championship: Natalya (c) def. Charlotte in 13:45 with a Sharpshooter to retain the Smackdown Live Women’s Championship. This competitive match featured callbacks to their previous Championship matches, but in the end it was The Queen of Harts who managed to edge out the win.
- An advertisement is shown promoting the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view event on October 22nd only on the WWE Network.
- A dual shot is shown on a split-screen showing The New Day and The Usos both preparing for the huge Hell In A Cell Match that will take place later tonight for the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships.
MATCH FIVE // United States Championship: Baron Corbin def. AJ Styles (c) in 15:58 with the End of Days to win the WWE United States Championship. Baron Corbin becomes the United States Champion for the very first-time.
MATCH SIX // WWE Championship: Jinder Mahal (c) (w/ Sunil Singh & Samir Singh) def. Shinsuke Nakamura in 14:18 with the Khallas after repeated distractions from the Singh Brothers to retain the WWE Championship. Shinsuke Nakamura had the match won at multiple points of the match, but Jinder Mahal’s associates managed to distract The King of Strong Style long enough to let Mahal capitalize. After the match, Nakamura, in a fit of rage, took out both Singh brothers with back-to-back Kinshasas.
- An advertisement is shown promoting the Survivor Series pay-per-view event on November 19th only on the WWE Network. It was announced that a Raw vs. Smackdown Live traditional Survivor Series match will take place at the event.
MATCH SEVEN // Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships: The Usos def. The New Day (c) (w/ Xavier Woods) in 26:34 with a Double Uce Splash on both Kingston and Big E through tables to win the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships. This match of the year candidate blew the roof off the newly-constructed Little Caesars Arena. Both teams brought their A-game and redefined the concept of a Tag Team Hell in a Cell.

- I wonder who will be the 5 superstars who join Team RAW who will be the team captain for Team RAW? Or who will be the 5 superstars who join Team Smackdown Live who will be the team captain for Team Smackdown Live? Either way I can't wait to see Survivor Series as far as your diary goes
- The Usos in the main event in Hell in a Cell become the new Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions beating The New Day inside Hell in a Cell to win back the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championships...The Usos are now 5-time Tag Team Champions but to put this match in the main event I definitely would say that I am surprised that this match went on last but given the magnitude it makes sense but now the way this rivalry has gone it is about time that it ends
- Jinder Mahal retains the WWE Championship yet again beating Nakamura yet again...just goes to show us that The Singh Brothers are detrimental they pay dividends whenever Mahal loses the upper hand in his matches there they are but Nakamura again he had Mahal beat but now that Nakamura has lost twice to Mahal he definitely has to go to the back of the line Mahal needs a new challenger but who will it be?
- Baron Corbin becoming the new WWE United States Champion winning his first singles gold beating AJ Styles...now after losing his Money in the Bank briefcase earlier this year Corbin wins his first singles gold that being the WWE United States Championship I wonder what is next for Corbin? Or better yet what is next for AJ Styles now that he is no longer the WWE United States Champion? I can see Styles going back after the WWE Championship
- Natalya retaining her WWE Smackdown Live Women's Championship beating Charlotte...I would have thought that Carmella would have cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Natalya here but if she doesn't do it here she will cash in on Smackdown or at Survivor Series but either way this match definitely was a classic match...this rivalry is more or less like the Trish/Lita of this Era if you think about it
- Kevin Owens after beating Shane inside Hell in a Cell brutalizing Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell I think it is definitely safe to say that Owens' rivalry with The McMahon family will probably continue which means KO will end up back on RAW and if he does I can see Stephanie McMahon doing everything she can to try to make Owens' life a living hell especially after what he did to her father and now her brother I can see Owens moving on into a feud with the COO Triple H it is only a matter of time...Owens/Triple H WM 34...YOU MARK MY WORDS!!!
- Roode in his PPV debut he beats Ziggler...after this win I wonder what is next for Bobby Roode? Or better yet what is next for Dolph Ziggler?
- The Shield reunion I feel it coming...SIERRA HOTEL INDIA ECHO LIMA DELTA SHIELD!!! Classic Shield entrance tonight on RAW

Monday Night Raw: October 9th, 2017 Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana Kicking off this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw was a very special edition of MizTV as Intercontinental Champion The Miz welcomed Cesaro and Sheamus as his special guests of the night. When questioned why they decided to join Miz last week in the beatdown of Roman Reigns, The Bar simply stated that they are sick and tired of the former members of The Shield and they want the spotlight for themselves. “This is a problem, guys. I am the most must-see Intercontinental Champion in the history of the WWE and these two guys are the best tag team in the WWE right now… and how many main events do we get?” stated Miz, who was irate. Miz continued his rant, questioning why guys like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose get the top spots night in and night out. “I should be on the cover of WWE 2K18. I’ve been here since 2004 and I’ve never been given anything in my entire career. I’ve fought my way to where I am, and so have these two, and we don’t get the recognition we deserve.” continued Miz. Cesaro and Sheamus added that nobody cared about the Raw Tag Team division until The Bar took over and crafted it in their own image… enough is enough, and it is time for a change… “and the change needed on Raw will take place when The Shield is destroyed and simply a piece of WWE past”. finished Miz as MizTV was then cut off by the theme song of Seth Rollins, who walked out with Dean Ambrose.
The Raw Tag Team Champions made their intentions on coming down to the ring clear… they were here to shut up The Bar and The Miz. Ambrose noted that he had no problem taking care of Miz earlier this year and won’t have any qualms doing it again. “But here’s the problem Dean… there are two of you and three of us.” retorted Miz as Sheamus and Cesaro circled around the other side of the Raw Tag Team Champions. Roman Reigns soon sprinted out from the back as it was now a proper three versus three situation. The Shield stood tall face to face to The Miz & The Bar and then the two trios came to blows! All six-men fought around the ring in an all-out brawl until Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel ran down and gave the numbers advantage for Miz and The Bar. The Shield continued to brawl, until Raw General Manager Kurt Angle came out on stage and ordered a plethora of security guards to come out and break up the brawl. Angle wasn’t done there, however, as he had big news when it came to the TLC pay-per-view event: The Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus will face The Shield in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for both the Intercontinental Championship and the Raw Tag Team Championships!... “but as for tonight, The Miz will get his turn in the main event… when he teams up with The Miztourage to face The Shield!” added Angle as the WWE Universe was left buzzing!
MATCH ONE // Kalisto def. Tony Nese in 5:01 with the Salida del Sol. Kalisto, the only member of the Cruiserweight roster who is eligible to challenge for the Cruiserweight Championship took on “The Premier Athlete” of the Cruiserweight division. Kalisto was able to secure the win, continuing to raise his stock in the division before he can officially challenge Enzo Amore for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Backstage in their locker room, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose are preparing for their main event match later tonight. As the trio chit chat about the past, Ambrose leaves and comes back with a gym bag that he throws on the ground in front of his Shield brethren. “If we’re gonna do this, we might as well do this right.” stated Dean as he opened the bag and pulled out the old Shield tactical vests and masks. The Shield seem to be on the same page after so many years apart.
An ad for Total Bellas was shown, make sure you watch this epic show this Wednesday on E!
In the middle of the ring sat Elias with his guitar in hand, who sang a song for the people in Indianapolis. Elias mentioned, in tune, that he had defeated both members of Titus Worldwide and that he is better than them and every single person here in Indianapolis. Elias’ musical performance was cut short by the entrance of Apollo Crews, with Titus O’Neil in tow, for our next match.
MATCH TWO // Apollo Crews (w/ Titus O’Neil) def. Elias in 2:05 via disqualification. The feud between Titus Worldwide and Elias continued as Apollo looked to avenge a loss against The Drifter two weeks ago. Crews managed to get the advantage of the match, but Elias cut the tour short by smashing a guitar over the head of Crews to call for the disqualification.
With Apollo Crews down and out from El Kabong, Elias turned his attention to Titus O’Neil, who was ready for a fight. Elias, not one to draw out his performances, swiftly kicked Titus beneath the belt and proceeded to beat him down… that is until Darren Young ran down and made the save for his former Prime Time Players teammate. Do we have a new member of Titus Worldwide?
Backstage, Renee Young stood by with Braun Strowman, who didn’t have much to say. Young questioned Strowman on why he requested this interview time, but the big man had other things on his mind. “Even after beating all three members of The Shield in the past month, I’m not scheduled for a match tonight. I want competition tonight… against anybody.” stated Strowman before leaving the interview set.
The fireflies were out as Bray Wyatt made his entrance amidst the darkness that encompassed the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Wyatt’s face was covered with a black veil, as his lantern glowed red as his rocking chair was already rocking back and forth as he stepped into the ring. Wyatt laughed maniacally as he sat down in the chair, the lantern now emitting smoke. “You see Finn, you’re not the only one who can call upon the demons of the past… I have called her to come and let me be her vessel for her return to the world…” stated Wyatt as he lifted the veil to reveal his face being painted as if it were abstract art of purple, red, and black. “You did this Finn. You brought me back… you brought back Sister Abigail.” laughed Wyatt. However, the theme music of Finn Bálor cut off the demonic ceremony as The Extraordinary former Universal Champion walked out on stage with a weird look on his face. Finn came down to the ring as he came face-to-face with Sister Abigail… who quickly planted Bálor with Wyatt’s Sister Abigail finished maneuver! Wyatt remained on his knees laughing next to the downed body of The Extraordinary One as the lights soon went out and the Wyatt soundbite played into commercial.
MATCH THREE // Alexa Bliss & Nia Jax def. Mickie James & Dana Brooke in 9:34 when Bliss pinned Brooke after the Twisted Bliss. Ahead of her Raw Women’s Championship defense against Mickie James at TLC, Alexa Bliss was able to keep momentum swinging her way as she joined forces with her friend Nia Jax to battle Dana Brooke and the Number One Contender.
An ad is shown promoting the partnership between WWE and Susan G. Komen for a Cure.
MATCH FOUR // Cesaro & Sheamus def. Heath Slater & Rhyno in 1:02 with the spinebuster Brogue Kick combination on Rhyno. Ahead of their huge TLC match in two weeks, Cesaro and Sheamus absolutely destroyed Heath Slater and Rhyno and continued their claim that they are The Bar of the Raw Tag Team division.
After the match, the celebration for The Bar was cut short with the appearance of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The two good brothers congratulated Cesaro and Sheamus on their win and noted that they are rooting for them in the TLC main event… that is because they want to be next in line for a Raw Tag Team Championship match. However, that didn’t sit well with the newest tag team on Raw as Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan made it known that they are also in the hunt for contendership. Raw General Manager Kurt Angle made the match official, The Club vs. Jordan and Hardy up next and the winners will face the Raw Tag Team Champions on the Raw after the TLC pay-per-view!
MATCH FIVE // Matt Hardy & Jason Jordan def. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson in 14:28 following a Jordan Slam on Anderson to earn a future shot at the Raw Tag Team Championships. While they may have lost last week, the makeshift team of Jordan and Hardy squeaked out with the win when it counted and they will face the Raw Tag Team Champions on the October 23rd edition of Raw!
Braun Strowman made his way down to the ring, The Monster Among Men ready for some competition after requesting it earlier in the night with his interview with Renee Young. Before his opponent could come down and accept the challenge, Strowman grabbed a microphone and demanded that Kurt Angle notice this upcoming match. “I will not stop beating any of your guys until I get what I truly deserve… that is my name on the marquee and the recognition as the baddest man on Raw.” stated Braun before waving for his opponent to come on down for the open challenge.
MATCH SIX // Braun Strowman def. Curt Hawkins in 0:21 with three Running Powerslams. Poor Curt Hawkins. After the match, Braun yelled that this isn’t the competition he is looking for and stated that he will take the situation in his own hands.
A video package is shown promoting the debut of Asuka at the TLC pay-per-view event.
In his backstage office, Kurt Angle is speaking on the phone about the Braun Strowman situation until Emma bursts into the room, demanding Kurt’s time. Emma said that she deserves more than being relegated to being in a tag team with Alicia Fox. “After all Kurt, I am the one who started this Women’s Revolution.” added Emma as Kurt looked dumbfounded. “You’re right Emma... since you're dressed for competition, you’ll face Alicia Fox tonight.” stated Kurt, which Emma was surprisingly okay with. “Oh… and before I forget, make sure you wash your attire because you’re going to need it at TLC when you face… Asuka!” added Kurt, this time much to Emma’s chagrin.
The WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore made his way to the ring and did not look happy about his current standing with the Cruiserweight division. “Lemme make this short and sweet… Kalisto, you’re a schmuck. You come out here hiding yer ugly face with a mask. Who’d ya think you are? Batman or something? Well if yer Batman, that makes me The Joker, eh? Well jokes on you kid, because there ain’t no way in Hell that you’re walkin’ away with my Cruiserweight championship.” stated Enzo before proceeding to call Kalisto soft and undeserving of the Championship. However, Kurt Angle had some big news for Amore. “Enzo, you come out here yapping every week and I’m just getting tired of hearing about it. You’re the champion, so you need a challenger. So you’ll face Kalisto at TLC!” stated Kurt. “But, I’ve been thinking about the whole contendership situation with the Cruiserweights and I’ve made a decision. One man on the Cruiserweight roster will get an opportunity to lay their hands on you after TLC… because there will be an seven-man Ladder Match at the TLC pay-per-view and the winner becomes Number One Contender for the Cruiserweight title! The contestants will be decided with some qualifying matches in the next week. Oh it’s true, it’s damn true!” finished Angle as Enzo was right livid.
MATCH SEVEN // Emma def. Alicia Fox in 5:02 with the Emma Lock. Emma made quick work of Alicia Fox to send a message to Asuka ahead of The Empress of Tomorrow’s Raw debut at the TLC pay-per-view against Emma in just under two weeks.
An ad is shown promoting this week’s edition of Smackdown Live. Watch all the fallout from Hell in a Cell, plus will Sami Zayn explain why he helped his former best friend Kevin Owens defeat Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon?
MATCH EIGHT // The Shield def. The Miztourage in 12:04 with a Triple Powerbomb on Bo Dallas. The Bankers Life Fieldhouse was in absolute awe for the return of the Hounds of Justice, who made their entrance through the crowd with the old theme song. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns teamed together as if they’ve been doing it ever since The Shield debuted since 2012. In the end, poor Bo Dallas was on the receiving end of a devastating Triple Powerbomb.
After the match, The Shield stood tall in the middle of the ring over the broken body of Bo Dallas as Curtis Axel and The Miz attempted to retreat up the ramp. However, their escape was cut off by Braun Strowman! The visibly irate Strowman threw Axel off the stage and then shifted his focus on The Miz. Strowman took the Intercontinental Champion and delivered two Running Powerslams on the Champion on the stage and then turned his focus to the Raw announce table. Braun, showing his rage, put Miz through the commentary booth with another Running Powerslam! The Miz is absolutely out of it as The Shield looked on at the Monster Among Men from the ring. Raw General Manager Kurt Angle walked out on stage as security guards brought Strowman backstage. All things considered at the end of this Raw, The Shield is back together and better than ever, and The Miz was absolutely decimated by Braun Strowman...

- Loved seeing Strowman destroy not only Axel but he destroyed The Miz too and Miz has to compete at TLC with Sheamus and Cesaro as they take on the recently reformed Shield of Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins but I wonder in what kind of shape will Miz be in after getting destroyed by Braun Strowman? Strowman not only destroyed Miz and Axel he destroyed Bo Dallas too and Strowman destroying people no one on RAW is safe from Strowman
- I hope we get an explanation from Sami Zayn...but I bet this will be a heel turn from Sami Zayn but a heel turn from Sami may actually freshen up his character it will actually give him some direction I mean he can become more popular that way by being a heel and staying one because then it will make his eventual babyface turn all the more relevant making him all the more relevant going forward
- Asuka vs Emma for TLC...Asuka's undefeated streak continues well she was never beaten on NXT by any of the divas there so her undefeated streak would carry over to the main roster and in her first match she is going to face Emma...I think that that is a great choice
- Emma beating Alicia Fox...well it makes sense given the fact that Emma she is going to need to gain as much momentum heading into TLC seeing as how she is going to face Asuka and Asuka is not even here and won't show up until TLC...obviously you wanna hype her up
- A 7 Man Ladder Match to determine who gets the next shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship...I think that that's a great idea but I wonder who the 7 Cruiserweights will be?
- Enzo Amore vs Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at TLC...I can't wait
- Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor and a match idea for the 2 of them let's see there's a Casket Match, Buried Alive Match or an Inferno Match

Hollywood, This by far is good, And I agree with TG11's points of view. I would like to see Wyatt vs Balor face off, but the one thing I would love to see them face off is Buried Alive. Asuka vs Emma is a great choice, I hope Asuka beats the so-called woman that started the Women's Revolution. I'm glad you are still pushing Strowman, because Strowman does what he wants when he wants he reminds me of attitude era Stone Cold Steve Austin. Strowman doing the Stone Cold cult "Rage against The Machine". He won't do what anyone tells him, he just does what he pleases and that's it. But with The Shield back together. RAW, SMACKDOWN, NXT. It doesn't matter who they are, watch out because The Shield is coming to hunt, and you can best believe that. Although I do like The Shield reuniting in real life too. I think it's a way to put Reigns over, maybe Reigns might be the one turning on his brothers and be the heel he always was. So with that said, I'm loving this diary, I'd like to get a reply on my diary which is WWF 1993-1996 if you would please.
