It cuts to the GPW Arena, a well lit but small, intimate building with a grungy feel. It's a packed house and the crowd are very hot for the return of the promotion. The camera cuts to a back corner where commentators Havoc, his long blonde highlighted black hair tied up in a pony tail, and Nick Crew are seated. Both are dressed rather causally.
Crew: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the debut episode of Genesis Pro Wrestling. It’s a clean slate. New roster, new name, same attitude. Joining me as always is my partner Havoc.
Havoc: The smell of cheap liquor and cheaper perfume permeates this place…God I’ve missed that aroma! Feels like a second home Nicky!
Crew: I guess to some degree.
The camera cuts to the ring. Tag Champs Alpha and Tommy Preston, GPW Champion Kurt Angle, and GPW International Champion Tazz stand on the aprons, The System, the authoritative body of GPW, member Eric Bischoff and show-to-show manager and System liaison Jack Palmer stand in the ring. A table covered in a red velvet table cloth with pillows on them is set up in front of them, a blanket over the pillows, though it’s clear to the audience what’s under the blankets.
Bischoff: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the debut of Genesis Pro Wrestling!
He pauses with a smile as the crowd cheers. Jack claps along with them. Eric refreshes the fans on his and Jack Palmers roles. The camera cuts around between the four champions before going wide.
Bischoff: Now obviously not everything has changed. We have lost a good chunk of our roster and yes the name is different but these four men fought and earned the belts that they hold. Guys first of all thank you for your loyalty and hard work towards GSW.
The fans applaud again. The Duchess, standing at ringside on a pair of black jeans and a dark blue long sleeve shirt, rolls her eyes.
Bischoff: Now as you will notice your titles all say GSW. To reflect the name change we must ask you to relinquish your titles to us.
Theres some boos as Jack Palmer collects the titles, the talents begrudgingly handing them over. He returns to his spot in the middle of the ring and stashes the titles in a bag.
Bischoff: Now don’t get angry you’re not being stripped of the titles, you’re just getting an upgrade so to speak.
Palmer reveals the three titles one-by-one, holding them up to show them off. The International Title bears a globe and various black and white country flags on a silver faceplate, he hands to Tazz. Next, the tag titles. The designs are simple, a silver face on both, each adorned with an silhouette of an eagle, he hands a title to Alpha and Tommy Preston. Next, the GPW Title. Another simple design, the new GPW logo over a stylized wresting on a gold faceplate. He hands the title to Kurt Angle and Bischoff calls for another round of applause and the crowd respond in kind.
As they settle Eric begins to speaks again.
Bischoff: Astute viewers will notice there’s a belt missing. Before our hiatus we held a tournament to crow the first ever GSW Ironman Champion. Now, we made the decision to switch thing up before a champion could be crowned. So due to still lingering contract negotiations, that title is currently a non factor. Speaking of contracts, our next show was due to be SuperCard and all three of these titles were intended to be defended and damn it that’s what’s going to happen tonight!
The crowd cheer.
Bischoff: Tazz you will be defending against your regularly scheduled opponent Cesaro, and Kurt you will also be wrestling your scheduled opponent, Stan Hansen. As for you two…
He turns to Alpha and Tommy Preston.
Bischoff: The status of your challengers The Young Bucks is currently up in the air so tonight you will be defending against a debuting team here in GPW. Now what do we say we get this thing started!
The crowd cheer. Eric Bischoff hands the mic to GPW ring announcer, Kaitlyn Canario, whose wearing a beautiful green cocktail dress and Chuck Taylor sneakers. The ensemble begin to the back as staff members clear the table out of the ring.
Canario: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!
With the ring clear and the champions and Bischoff and Palmer in the back, Cactus Jacks hits to a round of applause. He holds his arm up as Canario introduces him and he rolls into the ring.
Havoc: We couldn’t get The Young Bucks to stay onboard, but we managed to keep him!
Crews snickers as the crowd is silent for the unfamiliar music. A man in a orange with black stripes mask and black tights with a stylized Phoenix on the right side, walks out.
Canario: His opponent from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, weighing in at 197lbs, Tigre Jr.!
He poses in the ring to a respectful but mild applause from the crowd.
Havoc: Got anything on this Tigre guy?
Crew: Nothing other then his father was a wrestler.
He hops down and the bell rings. They circle each other before going in for the lock up. Tigre rolls undead Cactus’ arm and Dropkicks him when he turns around. Cactus rolls right to his feet only to be Arm Dragged. He rolls right up again and catches a Superkick attempt. He throws Tigre’s foot down and Clotheslines him.
He covers him for a one count. Cactus stands up and hits the ropes. Tigre rolls up and runs after him, knocking him out of the ring with a Bicycle Kick. Tigre is quickly out on the apron as Cactus staggers, trying to regain his composure.
When Cactus is still, Tigre hops onto the second rope and then jumps back, turning in mid-air and hitting Cactus with a Hurricanrana to a big pop. He poses as he stands up and Cactus rolls away, holding his back.
Crew: Tigre Jr. looking impressive so far in his first match in GPW, some of the fans seem to be taking quickly to the guy.
Havoc: Ain’t too bright trying to have a match with Cactus outside of the ring.
Cactus pulls himself up slowly giving Tigre time to re-enter the ring. He stands in front of the ropes and when Cactus is standing he takes him out with a Springboard Shooting Star Press. Both men lay on the floor for a moment catching their breath.
They stand up at the same time slowly. Tigre spins, kicking Cactus in the gut, doubling him over. He walks away a little before turning and running towards Cactus. Cactus stands up and drives his knee into Tigre’s midsection. The luchadore flips over but lands on his feet and poses to a pop.
Cactus sneaks in a club to the back while he’s distracted. Tigre falls and rolls into the corner of the barricade. Cactus punches him a few times quickly before pulling him up to his feet. He drags him away from the guardrail and tosses Tigre towards the commentary table. Tigre jumps on it though he stumbles and Cactus takes advantage and pushes him off, Tigre lands sternum first against the guardrail behind the commentators.
HavocF****** ow!
Cactus rolls into the ring and the ref begins to count. At five, Tigre stands up, coughing. He hops into the table.
6…
He runs and jumps landing on the second rope. The crowd pop big.
Crew: …how?!
Cactus is stunned. Tigre stands up and jumps onto the top rope then onto the ring rolling Cactus up with a Hurricanrana into a pin for the three count. He rolls to his feet and celebrates as he’s announced as the winner and Cactus looks at him in disbelief, but with a small smirk.
Crew: I don’t even know with this show anymore!
Tigre and Cactus shake hands as the crowd cheer and some chant Tigre Jrs. name.It fades to black briefly before there’s male moaning sounds.
: Oh yeah right there…
It cuts to Joey Ryan’s face, sunglasses on, with his mouth.
RyanOh fu- hey! I why didn’t you guys tell me I was on?
The camera zooms revealing he was getting a foot massages. He dismisses the masseuses and stands up, wearing a towel with the Venis Envy embroidered on it.
Ryan: Hello ladies of the GPW fan base. And the guys too I guess. I’m Joey Ryan and I’m on the set of Venus Eny Productions newest film, Beverley Hills MILFs 90210…4 which of course stars yours truly. Now of course when I’m not busy filming high quality blockbusters, I’m a wrestler and I’m coming…to GPW and Alpha and Tommy Preston…
He pulls his shades off.
Ryan: …thanks for keeping the tag titles warm for me. And Duchess, if you play your cards right maybe GPW won’t be the only thing I come to.
He smirks and puts his glass back on and it cuts back to the ring.
Havoc: Well that’s happening.
Crew: We’re going to end up canceled.
The Steiner music hits and the bell rings. Scott Steiner comes out alone and Canario introduces him as he walks to the ring.
Crew: Anyway back to the show, while we still have one. Scott Steiner looking more determined then usual. Normally comes out here, jogging, doing some last minute stretching. But this time he’s completely stone faced and we maybe about to find out why.
Steiner has a mic in hand, and brings it to his mouth.
Steiner: Now obviously me and Rick aren’t the ones challenging for the tag titles tonight but I do want to send a message to Alpha and Tommy Preston. See we feel like we were being overlooked in GSW and since this is a fresh start, everything we do from this point forward will be done with the pursuit of those titles.
He hands the mic back to Canario as the crowd cheer his promo.
Canario: And his opponent…
The lights go out and the crowd buzzes. When they come back on Sabu is in the ring, pointing upwards. The crowd pop and he immediately throws his turban at scott and begins to punch him. He pushes him back into the ropes and Irish Whips him but Steiner reverses. As he comes back, Steiner goes behind Sabu and picks him and slams him down, holding him in a bodyhold.
Crew: Sabus back…
Havoc:…Cause why not!
Crew: As I was saying, Sabu was suspended for thirty days for attacking an official following what he felt was a bad call in an International Title match against Tazz. His suspension followed Vaders, who attacked me and Jack Palmer following a rejected rematch for the GSW Title.
Sabu starts to get back to his feet with Steiner still holding on. He tries to break the hold and throws his elbow back. Scott ducks it and tosses Sabu with an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Sabu rolls into a crawl and goes for Scotts legs. Scott blocks it and Gutwrench Suplex Sabu.
Crew: Sabu a stubborn individual but he needs to rethink his strategy here.
Sabu starts to his feet and Scott pulls him up and pushes him into the corner. He kicks him twice before whipping him across the ring. Sabu jumps into the second rope and when Scott runs over he jumps back hitting a Leg Lariat. He quickly mounts Scott laying into him with right hands. He jumps right back to his feet and stomps on him.
Havoc: By God Sabu actually used some intelligence.
Sabu climbs to the top and walks off, turning into a Leg Drop. He covers Scott but only gets a one count. He stomps on him some more and lays him on the mat. He jumps dropping both legs against Scotts stomach and covers him, again only getting a one count.
Sabu sits him up and jumps onto the middle rope. Scott rolls out of the ring though. Sabu notices and changes his course, Planchaing out onto Scott. The crowd pop. Both men take a breather but Sabu is up first. Scott rolls over onto all fours and Sabu stomps and punches his back. He pulls Steiner to his feet and chokes him against the guardrail.
He pulls him up and tries to toss Scotty into another part of the guardrail but Scotty reverses and Sabu flips over the guardrail to a pop. Steiner rolls into the ring and the ref begins to count Sabu out. At the count of five Sabu climbs back over the barricade and climbs to the top rope. Steiner runs and Belly-to-Belly Suplexs him from the top.
Both men lay on the mat breathing heavy. They’re both to their feet at relatively the same time. Sabu charges and Clothesline Steiner. Steiner rolls right up and Clotheslines Sabu. Sabu rolls right up and they begin to trade fists. Sabu wins out and moves around behind Scotty. He jumps onto the second rope and as Steiner turns Sabu hits him with a Leg Lariat.
He covers him for a two count. He sits Steiner up and locks in a Rear Chinlock. He rolls Sabu over onto the mat and tris to tradition into a Steiner Recliner but Sabu crawls out between his legs and School Boys him for a two count. The two are up surprisingly quick and each tris for a right hand, each connecting. The two stagger and Sabu kicks Scott in the stomach and hits the ropes. But Scott stands before Sabu gets too far and hits him with a Steinerline, Sabu rolls right up and gets Steinerlined again.
Scott kneels for a moment, panting. He stands up and points to the top rope. The crowd cheer. Scott climbs up slowly and tries for a Moonsault but Sabu rolls out of the way as Scott crashes to the mat. Sabu is quick to lock in a Camal Clutch. Scott start struggling for the ropes.
Crew: Sabu may be returning with a win…
Scott is inches away from the ropes. Sabu release the hold and stomps on Steiners back. He drags him to the center of the ring and leaves the ring. He barks at Kaitlyn Canario to move and takes her chair. He rolls back into the ring and sets it up next to Scott. He points to the ceiling and hits the opposite ropes. He hops over Scott and up the chair and to the top rope. But as he goes for the Moonsault, Scott puts his knees, eliciting an ooh from the crowd. Scott tries to capitalize but Sabu rolls away to the corner.
After a brief moment on the mat Scott returns to his feet and walks over to Sabu. Align advantage of the ref being distracted with removing the chair, a curled up Sabu, suddenly sits up and blasts a fireball at Scott. The crowd ooh and Sabu covers him for the three…
…it cuts to Tazz in the locker room, his signature black towel draped over his head. The lighting is dim.
Tazz: Winning that Triple Threat match was the biggest mistake of your career Cesaro. You ain’t ready for me. You ain’t ready to tossed around the ring, you ain’t ready to tap out. And I’m making a vow that starting tonight until I beat Low Ki, everyone hat steps in the ring with me will be choked out with a Tazmission. Win, lose, or draw. And as for you Low Ki, my promise rings true. The day we meet in that ring I will end your career. Beat me if you can!
It cuts ack to the ring as the music of Alpha and Tommy Preston begins to play. There’s no ring introduction as the tag champs walk out follow by their manager The Duchess whose carrying a mic. Alphas decked out in a Union Jack singlet and black knee pads, boots and his hands are taped, Preston is wearing Union Jack shorts and knee pads and black boots and white wrist tape.
The three enter the ring and the pair hand off their titles.
The Duchess: The Young Bucks? Gone. MNM? Gone. Dudleys? Hardys? Gone, gone, gone. The only other team left is The Steiners and Rick isn’t here tonight. So Mr. Bischoff, you and The System had your words cut out for you and I admire whoever steps through the curtain…
She’s cut off by unknown music. She sneers and throws the mic out of the ring. The crowd cheer as Raymond Rowe and Hanson step through the curtain. A “War Machine” chant starts immediately. As the two walk to the ring, Rowe holds his hand up and brings a mic up to his mouth.
Rowe: If you know us then you’ll know how this goes. War Machine rules, no DQ, no countouts, falls count anywhere.
The crowd cheer as he drops the mic. With the two challengers near the apron, Duchess runs forward and dives through the top and middle rope, Dropkicking Rowe in the process. He stumbles back and falls to one knee as Hanson takes to the ring. Duchess quickly runs over and clubs and stomps at Rowe.
Crew: The line between bravery and stupidity is paper thin and I think duchess just took hop, skipped, and jumped from one side to the other.
Hanson holds his own brawling with the champs in the ring. Rowe stands up, almost unaffected by Duchess offense, though she continues to swing away. He picks her up and she digs her nails into his eyes. He lets her down and holds his hands over his eyes as Alpha comes over and clubs at his back.
In the ring, Tommy has Hanson in a front facelock and is driving his knee into his sternum. Hanson stands and throws him off. Tommy lands on his feet and charges forward, nailing Hanson with a European Uppercut.
The screen splits as the second camera searches for Alpha and Rowe, eventually finding them among the crowd. The two are trading chops and fists. Rowe wins out with an especially stiff chop that sends Alpha retreating through the crowd towards the ring. Rowe poses to cheers before grabbing a chair and following Alpha.
Hanson is seated in the corner and Duchess takes her belt off and wraps it around his throat. The crowd boo as Tommy stomps on his challenger. Tommy shoos his fiancé away and pulls Hanson to his feet. He drives his forearm into Hansons jaw twice before backing up. Before he can run Hanson charges and takes Tommy out with a Spinning Wheel Kick to a big pop.
Back amongst the crowd, Alpha is leaning against the guardrail as Rowe is close behind. He catches up and nails Alpha in the back with the chair. Alpha wince in pain and turns around. He walks away, practically pushing the guard rail over for a respite. Rowe poses and follows him. Alpha grabbed Duchess’ belt and whips Rowes bare thigh with it. He screams and drops the chair as Alpha keeps whipping his leg, until Rowes on the floor and then he whips his back.
Alpha sits on his back and chokes him with the belt. It goes split screen again to show Tommy hitting Hanson with a European Uppercut that knocks both men to the mat as the crowd ooh.
Havoc: …Jesus
Crew: I think Hanson may have a dislocated jaw now.
Alpha releases Rowe and rolls into the ring, holding onto the belt.
Preston: Toss it, cm’here.
He drops the belt and heads over. They both take a leg of Hanson and spin around twice before falling back into leg locks. Hanson groans in pain. The crowd boo. The crowd cheer as Rowe rolls into the ring, he grabs the belt and whips Alpha across the stomach. He releases Hansons left leg and rolls out of the ring. Preston lets go of the right leg and starts to stand up by gets the belt across his back. He falls to his knees, and swears before rolling out of the ring.
Rowe Clothesline Alpha over the guardrail. He grabs Tommy by the hair and drags him a little before picking him up and slamming him on the floor. Hanson hops the apron and Rowe scoops him up and slams him on top of Tommy. The crowd ooh, and Tommy rolls over, holding his stomach and licking his feet.
Rowe picks the apron up and pulls out a table to a big pop. Hanson goes into the crowd and jabbed in the nose by Alpha. He staggers a little and alpha grabs him by the hair and drives his knee into his stomach a few times. He stands him up and European Uppercuts Hanson. Hanson turns around and Alpha backs up and runs forward, Chop Blocking Hansons knee. He falls to the ground, holding his knee. Alpha yells at a fan to move and takes his chair, folding it up.
He positions Hansons leg and slams the chair against his knee. Hanson grits his teeth and grabs his knees. Alpha turns around.
Alpha: This the kind of match you wanted er?
Rowe is approaching him, clearly pissed. Unknown to Rowe, Tommy followed him over the guardrail, belt in hand. He wraps it around Rowes throat to a round of boos.. He tires to pull the belt free and kicks at Alpha as he moves closer. Tommy pulls back on the belt allowing alpha to drive the chair into his gut. The crowd ooh.
Alpha throws the chair towards ringside and Tommy drags a groggy Rowe closer to the guardrail. Alpha hops over first and then aides Tommy in getting Rowe over the guardrail. Tommy throws the belt away as the two begin to stomp on Rowe. Rowe manages to fight them off long enough to crawl away a little before Alpha cracks him across the back with the chair. Alpha throws the chair into the ring.
Tommy: Pick him up!
Alpha: Are you ing daft? His going to get his breath back eventually and keep swinging why help him al-
Tommy: There’s two of us, now pick him up!
The two continue to argue.
Crew: Friends fight but I don’t think this is the wisest-
Havoc: Oh crap!
Hanson clears the announcers, taking out the the champs with a Crossbody to a huge pop. He rolls up and plays to the crowd with a roar.
Crew: Oh my God!
Havoc: We deserve a raise.
Hanson steps over Alpha and grabs Tommys arm and pulls him around ringside. Rowe follows but goes around them to reposition the table he set up earlier. Hanson hands Tommy to Rowe and he pulls him up and rolls him on the table. The crowd are buzzing as Hanson climbs to the top rope and the camera goes wide. Duchess runs around and pushes Tommy off the table, accidentally putting herself in his place as Hanson crashes down on her with a Moonsault, the table shattering below them.
The crowd and commentators are silent as Hanson and Rowe check on The Duchess. Hey move to let the medical staff come in and check on her. Tommy jumps onto Hanson taking him down to the floor and laying into him with right hands. Alpha walks over the scuffle and elbows Rowe in the jaw. Rowe staggers, and falls to one knee. Alpha lets him be fore the moment as he aided Tommy in picking up and Irish Whipping Hanson. The big man knocks over the guardrail as he collides with it shoulder first.
Alpha and Tommy pant as they look over their handiwork. Alpha slaps him on the shoulder and motions towards the back as Duchess is being helped to the back. Tommy refuses and Alpha rolls his eyes and ignores him, rolling Rowe into the ring. The two follow Rowe in and the continue to argue.
Havoc: The Tag Champs are falling apart!
The argument continues as Rowe gets to his feet slowly.he charges towards the champs and they both Drop Toe Hold him, throat first into the middle rope. The crowd boo as the two smirk. Alpha and Tommy pull him up and onto Alphas shoulders. He pushes him up and spins him into a Sit Out Powerbomb, holding on for the three count. They’re announced as the winners and retaining champs. The two take their titles and leave the ring, hurrying to the back…

Hanson clears the announcers, taking out the the champs with a Crossbody to a huge pop. He rolls up and plays to the crowd with a roar.
