While this isn't definite, I think it's worth nothing that Wizard World Chicago always books the WWE champion to show up at the convention and in cases where he is fighting someone in-between they book the challenger as well. What's notable is that only Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are booked for the August event and if they're promising a WWE champion appearance, it looks like it's going to be one of them.
