ELITE TV: EPISODE 1 SHOW OPENING
The show opens with "Elite" by Deftones blasting in the Warehouse's speakers and none other than ELITE's authority figure, Brother Grimm standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone. The fans are chanting "ELITE! ELITE! ELITE!" and Brother Grimm just soaks it in. After a minute of cheers, Grimm raises the microphone to his lips to electrify the crowd.
GRIMM: Welcome to the Warehouse!
The fans cheer in answer to Grimm's welcome.
GRIMM: Tonight on ELITE TV, for the first ever episode, we are presenting to you the first round of the ELITE tournament! The winner of the tournament will not only wear ELITE's world title, but will also establish himself as the ELITE of pro wrestling!
The ELITE chant once again breaks out in the crowd.
GRIMM: Homies, y'all better be ready cause...
Bret Starr's music hits the PA System and he makes his way on the stage with a microphone under the crowd's boos. He walks down to the ring with a cocky smile and gets in front of Brother Grimm.
STARR: Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you, the main attraction. The only wrestler worth watching on the planet, "Hollywood" Bret Starr!
The crowd boos the young cocky wrestler as he turns his attention to Brother Grimm.
STARR: Grimm, with all due respect...
GRIMM: All due respect?
STARR: Yes...
GRIMM: All due respect? You interrupt me and then try and pay respect? You have no right to disrespect an OG like that! When Grimm's in the ring, you shut up, stand back and listen!
The crowd cheers Grimm for standing up to Bret Starr.
STARR: Hold on you old piece of s***t! Do you even know who you are talking to? You are talking to the son of an immortal, a second generation superstar! Greatness runs in my blood Grimm and you better respect that!
GRIMM: You know what Starr, you are right. You're the son of an immortal, you're Hollywood Bret Starr and you know what big dawg, after you face Johnny Martin tonight you'll realize you ain't nowhere near deserving of being called a star!
STARR: Maybe I can show you what I'm about right now and send all your teeth to the back of your mouth!
Starr walks aggressively towards Grimm but is interrupted by James Hernandez's music.
Hernandez gets in the ring with a microphone and immediately gets in Bret Starr's face.HERNANDEZ: Take a look at me Starr! Take a good and long look at me because whether you pass the tournament's first round or not, I am the reason why there's no chance you're winning this tournament. You keep on calling yourself the future, calling yourself Hollywood cause I guess that's where you wanna make it, but guess what my friend, my name is James Hernandez and I'm already mainstream! Grimm smiles and shakes Hernandez's hand under the disgusted look of Bret Starr.
STARR: I know you Hernandez and you're actually right, you've made it in the business, you are mainstream as you like to say, but if you think I care about you or anyone else being in this tournament you are wrong. Whoever faces me will only serve as a step for me to become the ELITE of pro wrestling and you will all suffer the same fate. The sound of the referee counting to 3 will hunt you for weeks, knowing that you just got robbed of a chance to become the ELITE wrestler. The three men in the ring once again get interrupted, this time by a returning legend, an immortal, Matthew Keith's father, Sam Keith!Sam Keith stays on the stage with the microphone.
Keith: Children, I think you should listen to someone who actually really made it in this business. You see, I have done it all in this business. From being a 10 times world champion to actually owning my own wrestling company, I have done it all and I have done it by myself! The stupid fans never had anything to do with my success! I am the greatest american wrestler that ever lived and you children should respect that.
The fans boo the returning legend Sam Keith.
Keith: As for you Bret Starr, you should be ashamed of pretending to have greatness flowing in your veins because let's face it, your dad never even came close to being the man that I've ever been! In fact, where is your father now Bret? I guess he must be back in his silly old ranch in Texas, just thinking back on how his career was a disappointment. You see, none of you three in the ring can touch my legacy and my legacy has now been passed to my son, Matthew Keith, who is going to tear down the competition and win the ELITE tournament!
The fans book the son of the legend.
GRIMM: Enough! I'm sick and tired of this bulls***! Hernandez you better get ready now because your match is next against the brawler, Ali X!

JAMES HERNANDEZ VS ALI X (Round 1)
Ali X makes his way to the ring under the crowd's boos and he crosses path with both Bret Starr and Sam Keith on the ramp, followed by Brother Grimm who simply nods at him.
SAMMY: You've heard from Brother Grim ladies and gentlemen, here's our first match in the history of ELITE TV featuring two great competitors in James Hernandez and Ali X. My name is Samuel Curran and I will provide commentary for the night alongside none other than "The Traditionalist" Eric Tyler. How are you doing Eric?
TYLER: Good, who wouldn't be doing good? It's a great day for professional wrestling with the grand opening of ELITE TV here live from The Warehouse.
SAMMY: Yes of course it's a great day and we're about to begin that new era, the ELITE era of pro wrestling with a match between two fierce competitors, what's your take on that match Eric?
TYLER: I think it is going to be a very tight match between those two. "Mainstream" James Hernandez is a proven commodity, he's been a winner wherever he's been and now he sets his sight on becoming the ELITE pro wrestler. Does he have quite what it takes to make it though? I don't know, I think he may be too soft.
SAMMY: What about his opponent tonight, the young Ali X?
TYLER: I think he's got everything he needs to succeed in this business. He's got the drive and definitely won't shy down from hurting his opponent. In my opinion, he might just be one of the biggest surprises of this tournament.
Both Ali X and James Hernandez now stand in the ring as the referee, Moore Vincent, calls for the bell.
SAMMY: Here we go, the ELITE tournament is officially started.
Both opponents walk around the ring, scouting for the other's first move and both men go into a tie-up position.
SAMMY: Both men get into the tie-up position, fighting to get the upper hand.
Hernandez transitions the tie-up into an hammerlock, quickly followed by a headlock.
SAMMY: Hernandez is going for an early headlock, trying to drain his opponents energy already.
TYLER: Great strategy by Hernandez trying to fatigue Ali X early, but against such an opponent he will need to show some more. Ali X is the kind of man that turns every match he's involved in into a fight.
After a few seconds in the headlock, Ali X presses Hernandez against the ropes and send him running on the other side of the ring. Hernandez comes back with a front dropkick, surprising the young Ali X and sending him out of the ring.
SAMMY: Ali X didn't see that dropkick coming and is thrown out of the ring by Hernandez who came running with a lot of speed.
TYLER: Ali X needs to take his time down there and try to recuperate only to go back stronger after.
SAMMY: I don't think Hernandez has the intention of letting him do so!
Hernandez hits the ropes and comes back towards Ali X with a big suicide dive outside of the ring, sending Ali X against the steel barricade. He then grabs him by the back of the neck and roll him back into the ring.
SAMMY: He certainly didn't see that one coming. Great suicide dive by Hernandez, not shying away from risking his own body.
TYLER: I think that's a stupid move by Hernandez, now he sent Ali X back in the ring in a superior position, giving him an advantage over him.
Hernandez climbs to the apron and Ali X tries to get at him, only to eat a forearm to the face. Ali X takes a few steps back and Hernandez uses the ropes as a springboard to hit a flying dropkick, taking his opponent down.
SAMMY: Ali X may have a small size advantage, but Hernandez seems to have an answer to everything Ali X comes up with.
TYLER: We knew Hernandez could wrestle, there's not a doubt about it, but wait until Ali X turns that one into a brawl. Then the match will take a completely different turn.
Hernandez tries to go for the cover, but Ali X kicks out after 1. He's then locked in a sitting headlock position.
SAMMY: Hernandez is taking his time here tonight, taking this match as more of a marathon than a sprint.
TYLER: Definitely, Hernandez is a smart guy, but as I said, I don't think he's got what it takes to get involved into a brawl with Ali X and once he loses the advantage over him, I think there's no coming back for him.
Ali X slowly manages to get back to his feet while Hernandez keeps his grip on him. He pushes him against the corner and the referee comes to separate both men. While Hernandez releases his grip, Ali X quickly sends him a right hand to the jaw, knocking him on his butt in the corner, followed by a mud-hole stomp which the referee Moore Vincent tries to break.
TYLER: That's exactly what I was talking about, this is what Ali X must do to win this match. He needs to use his brawling skills to get the upper hand on Hernandez.
SAMMY: Ali X is now showing much more aggression than in the beginning of the match.
Once the referee manages to get Ali X away from Hernandez, Ali comes back with a running boot to the face in the corner followed by a pin attempt from which Hernandez kicks out at 1.
SAMMY: Ali X just went for a quick pinfall, trying to end this one early, but Hernandez manages to kick out.
TYLER: I thought for a moment that it was in the pocket for Ali X, but Hernandez shows some resilience against the tough brawler from Los Angeles.
Ali X puts his arms together in an X sign in front of his chest, taunting Hernandez. Once his opponent gets to his feet, he puts him on his shoulder in a Death Valley Driver position, but Hernandez grabs the ropes to prevent Ali X from slamming him. He then throws an elbow to the head of Ali X, forcing him to drop him back to his feet.
SAMMY: Ali X had Hernandez into a fireman carry position and it seems he wanted to go for the X Drive already!
TYLER: Ali doesn't want this one to go the distance, he wants to finish Hernandez early and get ready for the 2nd round.
Hernandez hits Ali with a forearm to the face, followed by a back elbow and a left punch, forcing Ali X to back away from him. He then runs towards his opponent only to be greeted with a huge clothesline from Ali X.
SAMMY: What a clothesline from Ali X, sending Hernandez's body twisting into the air.
TYLER: That's the aggressiveness I was talking about all along! That's exactly what he needs to keep on doing.
Ali X goes for the cover, which is meant by a count of 2. He then pick Hernandez back up, only to throw him over the top rope to the outside of the ring.
SAMMY: Ali X wants to take that match out of the ring.
TYLER: That's what I made allusion to earlier, Ali X wants to turn this match into a fight and this is the best thing he can do to win this one.
SAMMY: Yes and he's now coming towards us and slamming Hernandez's head against our table!
TYLER: Good use of the environment here by Ali X, he's a very intelligent man and he's showing it here tonight.
He then throws Hernandez against the steel steps, before throwing him against the barricade. As Hernandez is leaning on the barricade, Ali X sends a few right hands to his jaw before throwing him back in the ring.
TYLER: Ali X is not the biggest man, but he's a dangerous man and he's proving his point against Hernandez, throwing him around like a rag doll.
SAMMY: Indeed, Ali X has taken control of this match.
Ali X gets in the ring only to be taken down by Hernandez who starts unleashing his anger on him with a series of punches.
SAMMY: Where does that aggression come from? We're not used to seeing that from James Hernandez.
TYLER: He's such a savage, get him out of that ring before he hurts anybody!
Hernandez gets back to his and tries to pump the crowd by encouraging them to cheer. Once Ali gets to his feet, Hernandez goes for the Super Kick, but Ali counters him with a devastating Power Bomb.
SAMMY: Great counter by Ali X now going for the pinfall.
Hernandez kicks out after 2, which angers Ali X.
TYLER: Man that Power Bomb was something. It must've cut the air off Hernandez's chest.
SAMMY: Yes and a move like that as you can probably tell, can be very devastating in a match.
TYLER: Of course Sam, it cuts your air out, your head bounces against the mat, there are a lot of chances that Hernandez has a concussion right now.
A good looking girl wearing a sexy black outfit then makes it on the stage.
TYLER: Wait, what is this? Where did that thing of beauty come from?
SAMMY: It's... it's Farrah Hesketh! I thought she retired in 2012 following a knee injury!
TYLER: I remember her, but what is she doing her on ELITE TV and why is she interrupting this match?
SAMMY: I don't know, but she seems to have caught Ali's attention.
Farrah Hesketh walks to ringside under the attentive eyes of Ali X who keeps on staring at her.
ALI X: This one's for you babe!
Ali X turns back towards Hernandez and sets him up for the X Drive.
TYLER: Is she allied with Ali X?
SAMMY: I don't know, but it looks like Ali might want to impress her here, but he's taking a lot of time to hit the X Drive.
Ali X smiles at Farrah with Hernandez on his shoulder and tries to go for the X Drive, but Hernandez counters with a DDT. He looks at Farrah, still a little bit confused and gets on the turnbuckle.
TYLER: Move Ali! Move!
SAMMY: It might be the end for Ali X in this tournament.
Hernandez leaps into the air and hits the Shooting Star Press on Ali X followed by a pinfall! The referee counts to 3 and signals the end of the match as the fans pop to their feet and cheer for the winner.
TYLER: That's unfair! What was she doing at ringside!
SAMMY: I don't know Eric, but I guess we're going to find out now that James "Mainstream" Hernandez is moving to the 2nd round of the ELITE tournament.
Farrah gets into the ring and start clapping her hands as a confused James Hernandez gets his arm lifted by the referee.

JACK GRIFFITH VS CLARK ALEXANDER (Round 1) Jack Griffith and Clark Alexander both make their way to the ring one after the other to their respective entrance theme and get face to face in the ring. Both men are 41 years old veterans trying to prove they have what it takes to hang with the new generation of wrestlers.
SAMMY: Tonight, we are lucky enough to get a showdown of veterans! Both men have been in the business for a while and are about to battle it out tonight. Clark Alexander is the most experienced of the two as he's been around since the end of the 1990's and has pretty much done it all although he never won a world championship. On the other side of the ring, Jack Griffith, has had a completely different path. He made his debut in 2000 and seemed to be one of the most promising wrestlers in the world, but unfortunately he fell into alcohol and had to leave the business in 2004 to go into rehab. He came back in 2007 and has stuck around ever since, but has never been the wrestler he was supposed to become.
TYLER: You're right Sam and that's really a sad story, but I feel like Griffith might have recaptured the passion he once had in his 20's. He looks in incredible shape and seems willing to stick around for a long while even though he's in his 40's.
SAMMY: I hope so Eric and I wish him the best.
The ring bells and both men get into an heated confrontation, sharing a few words in the middle of the ring before tying up. Neither man can the advantage and they simply push each others away.
SAMMY: I think we are in for an even match up between these two.
TYLER: You might be right, both men are pretty big and we can expect a hard hitting match up between the two men, but I definitely think Jack Griffith might have the advantage as he is always willing to do whatever it takes to get the win.
Jack Griffith put his right hand up, tempting Clark Alexander into a test of strength. Both men lock their fingers together and start pushing against the other. Alexander seems to be able to get the advantage, but Griffith kicks him in the gut, breaking the strength test.
TYLER: Brilliant move by Griffith, it must have been his plan all along.
SAMMY: Griffith is already going for some damaging moves here as he goes for the Neck Breaker.
Griffith hits the neck breaker on Alexander and goes for the cover, but the kick is down within a fraction of a second. He then goes for a shoulder claw, gripping his opponent's trapeze.
SAMMY: Griffith is going for a shoulder claw, wearing Alexander down.
TYLER: Griffith is brilliant and will not compromise himself. He stays in a dominating position here, keeping the advantage over Alexander.
Alexander manages to make it back to his feet and hits Griffith with an elbow to the abdomen, causing him to release his grip. He then grabs Griffith's arm and throws him in the ropes with an Irish Whip. Griffith comes back at full speed and hit a Shoulder Block on Alexander who falls on his back. Griffith then runs the ropes and Alexander catches him with a good headlock takedown and keeps his grip on "Southern Justice".
SAMMY: Good takedown by Alexander who is now keeping Griffith in the headlock.
TYLER: I think Griffith may have underestimated his opponent on this one and went easy at him.
Alexander puts Griffith's shoulders down and the referee begins the pinfall, but Griffith quickly gets his shoulder up, still stuck into the headlock.
SAMMY: Good veteran move by Clark Alexander trying to go for the pinfall.
TYLER: Yes, Griffith better keep those shoulders up.
Griffith makes it back to his feet and tries to push the "Hawaiian Thunder" away, but Alexander holds on to him. He then takes a deep breath a lift Alexander off his feet, hitting a perfectly executed Back Drop and going for the pin, but Alexander kicks out after 1.
TYLER: Now that's the Jack Griffith we've seen in 2001, one of the greatest athletes in the world, lifting a 6'6" man over his head.
SAMMY: Yes, he now gets Alexander back to his feet and send him in the corner.
Griffith stomps Alexander in the gut and then Irish Whip him into the opposite corner. He follows him at full speed and hits a hard clothesline in the corner on Alexander before hitting a Side Walk Slam on him.
SAMMY: Nice combination by Griffith.
TYLER: That's what he needs to do, he needs to keep on going and not let Alexander slow down the pace of this match with his wrestling holds.
Griffith goes for the pinfall, but Alexander kicks out at 2. He then throws a series of punches to Alexander's forehead, only to be pushed back by the referee.
SAMMY: It seems like Griffith is willing to go the vicious path with those solid right hands.
TYLER: It's not vicious, it's brilliant Sam.
Alexander gets back to his feet only to have Griffith take him out with a running Big Boot. Griffith goes for the cover, but once again Alexander kicks out at 2.
SAMMY: Another solid hit by Griffith.
TYLER: Isn't that Big Boot a thing of perfection?
As Alexander is still on the ground, Griffith hits a jumping knee drop one him, busting his forehead open.
TYLER: And here we go, here's what ELITE is all about. Blood!
SAMMY: That was a nasty hit taken by Alexander there.
The referee make sure Alexander is able to keep on going and Griffith lands another jumping knee drop before going for the pin. Alexander kicks out at 2, lifting his shoulder just in time, angering Griffith.
TYLER: Griffith is not happy about that count, but he better keep his focus on his opponent.
SAMMY: That was a close count, but once again, Alexander survives.
Griffith gets Alexander back to his feet and send him into the corner, where he hits a noise making backhand chop. Alexander falls down to his knees in pain and Griffith grabs his head with both hands before hitting knee shot to Alexander's face.
SAMMY: Griffith keeps on gunning for the bleeding head of Clark Alexander, taking advantage of the situation here.
TYLER: This is brilliant methodical fighting.
Griffith taunts the crowd, who boos him loudly, not supporting his vicious tactics. While he taunts the crowd, Alexander catches him with a roll up and the referee starts the count, 1, 2...
SAMMY: Griffith kicks out just in time!
TYLER: What a fluke it would've been!
Both men get back to their feet and Alexander tries to comeback in this match. He hits a hard running forearm on Griffith, taking him down instantly and then comes back running at Griffith, who barely made it back to his feet, hitting a big shoulder block. Griffith gets back up only for Alexander to scoop him up and slam him down with a body slam. He then signals he's going to the top rope and the fans are encouraging him.
SAMMY: Alexander trying to change the momentum in this match.
TYLER: He's going for some risky business here going to the top rope.
Alexander makes it to the top and Griffith sends himself into the ropes, making Alexander lose his balance and fall mid-section first into the turnbuckle.
TYLER: Now that must hurt! He just rang his bells with that move.
SAMMY: Intelligent move by Griffith here, causing Alexander to lose his balance.
Griffith climbs to the second rope and punches Alexander. He then try to go for the Superplex, but Alexander punches him twice in the ribs, forcing him to release his grip. Griffith then goes for a headbutt straight to Alexander's forehead.
SAMMY: These two men are fighting for their life up there and once again Griffith goes for the forehead with a devastating headbutt.
TYLER: Griffith knows what he is doing up there and trust me, Alexander is in bad position here.
Griffith climbs to the top rope and makes Alexander stand up with him, but Alexander grabs him around the waist and hits a spectacular belly-to-belly suplex all the way down to the floor. Both men crashes hard and a "HOLY S***" chant breaks out in the Warehouse!
SAMMY: Alexander just sacrificed himself with that Belly-to-Belly Suplex!
TYLER: Both men are down and out! What was Alexander thinking? It's the first time I've ever seen that and now it changes the match completely.
SAMMY: I wonder who took the most damage on this one.
A replay of the move is shown, showing Griffith crashing against the barricade while Alexander also takes a huge fall from the top rope all the way to the floor.
SAMMY: Did you see how Griffith crashed against the steel barricade?
TYLER: I can't believe it! These guys are 41 years old, yet they just proved they can still go! Incredible!
The referee starts the count for both men. At 8, both men roll back into the ring with the assist of the bottom rope. Alexander then struggles, but manages to stand on his feet. Griffith on his side is staying down and Alexander decides to go for the cover.
SAMMY: It's the end now, Alexander is going for the pin!
1... 2...
TYLER: No! Griffith kicks out! What a great show of resiliency! Never count this man out Sam!
The "Hawaiian Thunder" can't believe it and slowly gets back to his feet. He then signals for the Ice Breaker!
SAMMY: It seems like Clark Alexander has had enough and he's willing to finish this match now.
TYLER: Can he hit the Ice Breaker?
Griffith slowly gets back to his feet and Alexander catches his in a Side Slam position, but Griffith subtly rakes his eye.
SAMMY: It seems like Griffith may have raked Alexander's eye and is now taking advantage of the situation.
Griffith kicks Alexander in the gut and hits the "Jack in the Box"!
SAMMY: Beautifully executed double underhook facebuster by Griffith!
TYLER: He calls that the "Jack in the Box"!
Griffith crawls over Alexander and the referee start the count, 1... 2... 3!
SAMMY: It's over, Jack Griffith just won the match, but I didn't clearly see what happened out there, did he actually rake Clark Alexander's eye?
TYLER: I said it at the beginning of the match Sam, Jack Griffith will do anything he needs to do in order to get the W's and here is a good example of that. He just raked his opponent's eye and knock the f*** out of him with that "Jack in the Box"!
Griffith rolls out of the ring with a smile, but also seems in a lot of pain. He walks to the back under the fans boos as popcorn and liquors are thrown at him.
